The cast of Lion King clearly won this sing off, but the rap from the "genie" was off the chain. Both cast are very talented. I wish I was there to witness this first hand. #Disney
I liked the Aladdin cast better. The genie had more style and personality. The Lion King cast drowned out the main singer in the circle of life as well. I liked the background singers in that, but I prefer strong vocals, and she was much too quiet and her voice was rather husky. Plus Aladdin gets bonus points for their originality in Genie’s rap. The Lion King cast just did what they have done 1000 times in rehearsals, at least Aladdin came up with something new (and on the spot no less). Lion King has a bunch of cool background music that is sung throughout the show, unlike Aladdin. Which is why at the end of the day Aladdin gets my vote to win. But they were both awesome 😊

No matter where, or how old you are, it connects the child in soooo many people❤ Its one of the rare things that almost everyone can agree on and come together for🙏🏻 I hope times like this will come again soon.
This song ALWAYS brings tears to my eyes. The joy people feel singing it and listening it, the joy of the melody and lyrics.......
Thank you UA-cam algorithm, you have done your good deed for the day.
Ah yes, UA-cam's algorithms bringing us all together again XD

Seen it once, 10 times, 50 times. Goosebumps every time.

This song always reminds me that no matter what your race or nationality you are, we are equal and we're always connected in the great CIRCLE OF LIFE.
Perosn gets home after delayed flight and friend says "I got tickets for the opening night of the lion King"
"It's OK I've already seen it!"
"How it's opening night?"
"I saw it at the airport!"

Haha 😂
Nice one.... you made me smile. 😇😇😇😇
@@Wishphoenix1 actually the singer in the circle of life usually gets drowned out on stage
I'd say if comparing casts, then Lion King takes it away. If comparing soloists, the genie has got it hands down.
Yep, they were both great. No need to put any group down. Very talented all around.
Ya the genies rap was like a whole new world
Outta this world?
Ok bye
Wow, Wow, Wow!! I got chills!! Incredible. What are the odds that this could happen. Listening to hear two soldout Broadway show casts sing live for free? I'm grateful but imagine Hamilton and Lion King. I wouldn't have wanted to board the plane.
Theres nothing like hearing great harmonies and great singing in person. Period.
Goes to ticket counter
"Id like to transfer to their flight"
I’ll trade you tickets right damn now.
I would have switched flights if I was ON THEIR FLIGHT!!!
@@rockrhymrr lmao no really tho. They sound amazing and all but I am not trying to listen to a rapping genie and the animal kingdom for my entire flight
😂😂

Good one

I never thought I'd wanna be stuck in an airport until now!! lol
Bloody brilliant 👏👏👏👏👏❤️
Why doesn’t this happen when I’m stuck At the Airport 😭
Be that person who starts it.
Lol not ever!
Funny story I once met a band of gypsies playing their Spanish guitars. They started playing. I joined in the fun and started dancing. We got a crowd and some little girls joined in the fun.💃
I know!!
We got snowed in at the Minneapolis airport when I was 3 (a looooong time ago) with the Harlem Globetrotters. 🏀 🤩
“Ya got 10 hits on one record. That’s not fair!” 🤣
😂 lmao
Yea but Aladin has 5 awesome Genies. They guy in yellow shirt has an award and is in hamilton now.
Something about the lion king hits very differently. It awakens your soul🥰💃
Why did the dude in yellow sound like he should have starred in “In The Heights” 💘
He's actually playing Lafayette/Jefferson on the Broadway cast of Hamilton!
When the Aladdin Cast says they improv everything and the Lion King cast are a well oiled machine...all I see is insanely talented people having fun when they are tired and wanting to go home! Have fun wherever you are! Make the most of it and magic like this happens! Xo
Preach!
Loved this so much and am still waiting for the day I witness this magic ^___^
I can't even imagine how many vocal cords were blown out after this. So glad the lady portraying Rafiki kept a normal volume. If I were her I'd be screaming my lungs out 😂 also props to the Aladdin cast for that BOMB ASS IMPROV CUZ DAYUMMM
Aladin cast is known for improves. Look up 5 years 5 geneis. They went compleatly of the script.
Marika Kutaladze legends only ✊✊
They do this every day, (some times twice a day) on stage. They’re trained to do it at 100% every day.
probably not any of them.
Theater performers are trained for this, what do you think they do when their mic goes on stage?
Do Anybody Knows Her Name??
I love when they execute the dynamics😊 loud to soft so beautiful💓
I've seen this so many times and love it more and more each time! I wish there were more of these!
i love how the man who plays the genie has the same personality as the genie
Same for Rafiki
I got to meet him, he is amazing!111
@@everyonemakesmusicstudentf4062 lucky! what is his name?
@@spicyflour7468 He is James Monroe Iglehart, his first musical was Music Machine at church. James also is featured on Kimby Schmidt as the nemesis to Titus Andromadon . I think he is in the cast of Hamilton currently on Broadway.but I am 🤔 sure. He is 46 and performs with the energy of a teenager!
“Arabian night”,“circle of life” are all good songs and all but “Be prepared” is and will always be 🔥
Jason Dzane oh it’s the sassiest tune! It’s the king to Ursula’s poor unfortunate souls
Finally, I've found My People!
Disney has cut that song from the live version and I've not been as angry with Disney before
@@judesharp6472 Yeah! They dont wanna hurt leftists feelings.
It's my favourite song in the whole film, narrowly beating i just can't wait to be king. My favourite part is the hyenas part where they're discussing being prepared.....yeah we'll be prepared....for what? Scar; the death of the king! Shanzi: why is he sick? Scar: no fool, we're gunna kill him, and simba too! Hyenas collectively 'yay no king no king' scar: FOOLS! THERE WILL BE A KING. Shanzi: yeah but you said... scar: I WILL BE KING! STICK WITH ME AND YOU'LL NEVER BE HUNGRY AGAIN!!!!!
Such wonderful energy, talent, joy, and a beautiful blend of voices. Wish we had big shows like that in New Mexico. Thank you for that!
I love the kinship all of these wonderful people have! I can't imagine the energy they put off in that airport! Blessings to each of them!
