This sums up the BMW community and most of the car scene right now
Most people just want foreigns… he literally said he just wanted a foreign. Not everyone starts off in love with automobiles at a young age… sometimes it’s not until they get one and see the potential. The same thing can literally be said about any car brand. For example a lot of these new charger/challenger mopar owners never cared about cars they just wanted a scat cause that’s what’s in every rap lyric and then they get one and are actually intrigued. Outside of being stolen a lot of these scats and rts that are salvaged are salvaged because a lot of people who aren’t into cars get them and although they aren’t extremely fast cars, going from a Corolla to a scat is a huge jump and some can’t handle it. The car community is filled with a lot of these “I never really cared about cars so I got a (insert favorite brand) and now I’m into cars”
As long as it’s genuine idgaf if they are late bloomers just enjoy what it is that you’re into.

You are spot on. I'm from Louisiana but I live on the border of Texas. I can be in Dallas in 2.5 hours and Houston in 3.5 hours. I grew up in love with Mustangs. Now I didn't grow up with access to them to live my dreams but that came later as an adult. However, these Mopar and Chevy guys all think Mustang owners are lame. But from my experience, us Mustang owners have always loved Mustangs and Cobras. And the Mopar and Chevy scene grew as it became more popular with movies like Transformers when they first showed Bumblebee. Or like you said when these rap songs started heavy promoting. Now Cat & Scat owners treat Stang owners like we're lames. My love is 20 years old. Their love is as old as the newest Durk or Lil baby song. I notice it within the demographic of Challenger, Camaro, and Charger owner tending to be younger.

I started with fox body mustangs back in the early 90s.. Owned 5 of em, had Mustangs, Corvettes and now a Camaro SS 1LE.. Most people just be talking shit.. Its the younger crowd that are pathetic and trying to flex cuz they signed a paper and got a payment for a car and bought bolt on parts online.. No one builds shit, they just buy parts and get someone else to tune it and then act like they a bad ass.. Its ruining the car scene for everyone..

I like how 1stock doesn’t take no for an answer when it comes to the power potential of a BMW motor. To make that kind of power on an N55 is crazy. I have an old e92 335i N54 coupe at conservative 430whp for about 3 years, he has inspired me.
When u can throw money at an engine it doesn’t matter lol. I could build a 1000whp n54 but I can’t afford it 😂😂. I own an upgraded turbos n54

Imma be real. Everyone wants credit for starting a platform but any platform with potential is going to blow with or without you. You might just be first to test some parts but the real hero is the engineers that work to decode the ECU and 3D scan a turbo and replicate it with bigger turbines

Viper did not have a Lamborghini V10. Not in a way that you'd imagine anyway. Dodge took their Ram 3500's V10, sent it to Lamborghini so they could make the same iron block but out of aluminum, then they reworkes the heads, cam, and made an intake and that was it. The main contribution Lambo made was recasting the iron block in aluminum. Still a predominantly Dodge design through and through
