You've really got to visit a few European cathedrals and choir schools. May I suggest the Vienna Boys' Choir; Kings College Cambridge; New College, Oxford; Winchester Cathedral choir; St Paul's Cathedral choir; Libera; to name a few. This boy needs proper voice training. Ah too late, he's 32! In which case you should have been aware of the voice of Max Emmanuel Cencic and (more recently) Aksel Rykkvin. This is not good singing.
Max Emmanuel Cencic and Akael Rykkvin's singing style are not accepted nowadays, it is accepted only in churches or choir singing. Michael Junior's singing is more patronized than them

I shouldn't make a comment like your's to be read by the likes of musicians from the Vienna Boys Choir (more Schubert), King's....or the Wiltener Boys Choir. 3 very different styles and each highly regarded. Whilst undoubtedly talented (if his voice hasn't broken) his style is somewhat akin to an American night club singer IMHO.
