Nice reaction and great to see you're back with more BM songs, such an on point moment with some great news about BM returns with new single coming this month and live performance along with new concept album next year is getting everyone hype. Get ready for some more of this electronic elements and dance style. I saw RoadRunner Michael M and some other kitsune fellas giving you already some good info. You got a short intro that is played before this song usually at live concerts and is also part of the Light Side of the Metal Galaxy album, is called "Future Metal". Certainly this song marks the route of the entire Metal Galaxy 3rd BabyMetal album, you can notice BabyMetal grew up a lot. Tak Matsumoto (B'z guitarist and founder) is the special guest guitars on the album version, the song is inspired in Juliana's Tokyo 90's movement and sound, more like a mix of Hi-NRG, eurobeat and Jpop, rather than edm, Tak Matsumoto was one of the first introducing guitar element back then. Of course SuMetal and the girls isn't afraid to try something new and they did it like a boss, or more like a queen and princess. The Legend Metal Galaxy Day 1 2020 version was performed with the East Kami Band, the Day 2 with the West, and both nights at the finale with both bands and all avengers. Momoko Okazaki was the avenger on that and she's the one who comes from the same main group like SuMetal and MoaMetal. In this case you're watching an official live compilation, but no live sound, from two live shows at least in 2019, LA Forum and Metal Galaxy World Tour in Japan 2019, and one of the avenger is Riho Sayashi, she currently have her own solo career and recently i heard a song from her called "We The Ones"👀 It wasn't easy for MoaMetal to adapt and get in sync with the three avengers, but she learned a lot from this. You'll find many more songs with MoaMetal on the spot, this one is just a brief section and she's not even singing live. In fact, MoaMetal and YuiMetal got their own spot since early era with their own subgroup "Black Babymetal", you can also watch and share with us the unofficial "trilogy of love", a series of solo from each of the girls: Love Machine by MoaMetal, Chokotto Love by YuiMetal, and White Love by SuMetal. MoaMetal started to performed Black Babymetal (BBM) songs after YuiMetal left the group suddenly in the end of 2017 at Legend S Baptism XX with "GJ!" first and "Song 4" after that, later on she repeat these songs as a solo and more recently, last year she did Onedari Daisakusen solo for the first, of course highly recommended. You can also find another special moment everyone loves to share and watch that is Headbanger!! live at Legend M 2019 MoaMetal 20th birthday, she sang the second section of the song and that's why we called that "MoaBanger!", search BMRR (Reactor Resource) to find that clip with watermarked logo safe to react. I think you're ready for the guide since you already watched plenty of the songs featuring on that guide, so there's no risk at all. "A BabyMetal Guide" by CrypticMisery is still the most updated guide at least with info until last year. Thanks for sharing this, see you next time and put your kitsune up!🦊🤘🔥
If you are not used to seeing Su off-center you should check out headbanger Legend M (aka moa-banhger), half way through the song Su hands off the Mic to Moa to complete the song in honor of her 20th birthday.
Good reaction, thanks! I already tried to answer your questions on the "vocals only" video. Well, you should know they have a sub-unit formed by Yui and Moa (without Su) called Black BABYMETAL. They have four songs: "Onedari Daisakusen", "4 no uta", "GJ!" and "Sis. Anger". You can start with "Onedari Daisakusen" live from "Legend 1997" or "Budokan Black Night" concerts. And yes to the guide! 👍
Great reaction. This was filmed at the Forum in LA in October 2019 (octagonal stage) and Osaka Jo Hall in Japan in November 2019 (big triangular stage) and, being the official video, it had the studio audio dubbed on top of the live footage. Tak Matsumoto is the guitarist with Japan's biggest ever selling band B'z and getting him to collaborate was a really big deal for them - he provided the guitar solo. The Metal Galaxy album had two very distinct halves or sides. The first (the light side) focused more on the electronic and pop side of what they do (unsurprisingly 'Da Da Dance' is from that side), the second (dark side) went back to their harder and more metal side. You have seen 'BABYMETAL Death' live at Legend 1997 if I recall correctly, so the guide will contain no spoilers and I will second the suggestions that now would be a good time for you to watch it.
Early comment, but this is still off of Metal Galaxy, their third album. (I think and will be corrected I’m sure). Babymetal recently announced they will be dropping a new single each month through March 2023. They will perform at two concerts in Chiba at Makuhari Messie in January 2023. Their latest album will be released in March 2023. This is off the top of my head, so exact dates are missing.
⚡ 💕 / 💃 BABYMETAL have concerts coming up on January 28th and 29th, 2023 in Japan. They will be dropping five new singles for download or streaming in October, November, January, February and March. A new ten track concept album called 'THE OTHER ONE' is due out on March 24th, 2023. 'DA DA DANCE' is BABYMETAL's tribute to Japanese Dance music of the '90s. The "Whoa!" in the background is a famous sample used in many '90s dance hits. The guest guitarist on the studio version of this song is Tak Matsumoto. He's best known for the group B'z. They're the best selling artists ever in Japan, and one of the best selling worldwide. It was quite a score getting him for the 'Metal Galaxy' album, but as Su has mentioned in interviews, they were able to get all of their first choices as guest artists. Matsumoto was very influential in Japanese Dance music from the '90s, so I think he was a great choice for this track. Moa's lyrics in her rap section are direct references to dance songs of that era. She's literally listing song titles from that era.
To answer your question, two of BABYMETAL's three avengers (Momoko Okazaki and Kano Fujihira) were also in Sakura Gakuin, but they both joined after Su, Yui and Moa graduated. They did not overlap. Sakura Gakuin was a school themed Idol group, and BABYMETAL originated there as the "Heavy Music Club" sub-unit in 2010, the year the group began. BABYMETAL became an independent group when Su graduated from Sakura Gakuin in 2013. Yui and Moa had activities in both groups until their 2015 Sakura Gakuin graduation. The other avenger, Riho Sayashi was in the Idol group Morning Musume. However, both Riho and Su overlapped many years ago as students in Actors School Hiroshima (ASH). They would have been about 7 and 8 years old when Su was admitted.

That's not Moa singing she's just mouthing the words that's the guy that's playing guitar on the track singing that part
Good reaction.
Take a look at the performance of Headbanger (Moabanger) with Moa taking “center stage” and lead vocals on her 20th birthday.
