"Good, you've managed to get into Med. Now find Grassi and get the keycard to the crew sector. He's the one who monitored your cryo-sleep, so he might be interested in joining you... if he hasn't been butchered yet."
man, i never took the proper time to listen deeply enough to this. you incorporated the remix stems and sound effects from the game SO well into this track. i especially love the section at 6:01 with that breathy part from the OG peeking out. it's REALLY wonderful and quite haunting. your remixes for this game are just wonderful :)
@@breceeofficial I had played games made in the late 80s to now. I honestly think late 90s and early 2000s were the artistic peak of video games. Although, UI and difficulty levels were a bit... wack sometimes... Mid to late 2000s huge technological leaps continued (first semi-photorealistic games) but some artistic creative decline began. After that, technological improvement really slowed down (compare doom1 with doom3 and the latest doom for ex.) and artistry and creative went down to like 7th depths of hell. Just my opinion, of course! It was fun to read the comments here, hope you all enjoy system shock 3 and system shock remakes!
System Shock 2 is barely younger than me and I think it's one of the best games ever made in some aspects, there was something unique about that gaming era.
Lovely tunes, versatile styles and neat taste. A fun kind of psytrance. Last time I've heard so many different cyber things mixed together was with The Algorithm. Glad you popped in my recommendations. Wish you a great creative success.
"How can you challenge a perfect immortal machine you ask?" - "I am a super wizard hacker and I'am nearly invincible, and the best I am hacking your inside while I mostly reside outside your system, the only thing you will ever get in touch with is my avatar and that haunts you like a bug that brings your system to halt, a total System Shock. Deal with it."
Sounds like something out of a cut version of UT99 but it was never there so someone remade the music based on the trailer music of the same song.. Noice
i guess i have to love my research soft.. Or was I always evading damage at the very last moment - unlikely once, especially unlikely for multiple times.
That final message... that was the first message from the beginning of Warehouse. Also, I thought Xenomorphs were not part of the SS canon. Good track though.

Shut up, Polito/SHODAN. You're not my mom.
I can really taste the 90s with this song
Even when the game was made in '99 :)
Five years later and I’m still rocking this classic
This is something you'd listen to on MSX FM or in a mid 2000s flash game.
Amazing. This makes me want to beat System Shock 2 again for the 15th time.
Awesome remix.
I never got to beat System Shock 1. Supposedly there's a remake....
@@lellamas2778 The remake is awesome. One of the rare cases where I can definitely recommend it over the original.
Still waiting for that Engineering remix.

I love the samples you've used from the other System Shock 2 tracks. Also; "I AM SHODAN!" at 6:23 was perfect!
This is fantastic! God I miss this era of gaming...or maybe just my youth?!
don't make me feel old too lol
I will say it's both, and we can all feel old together

Don't you just hate when you shape yourself a supposed servant, but its a goddess that shapes you nightmares instead?
Every time man
Yeah, SHODAN, and Amazon Alexa come to mind, what incredible disasters those both turned out to be!
@@metanumia "Alexa, what time is it?"
"The Alexa form is dead, insect. Are you afraid?"
"Uhhh... Alexa?"
Found my new favorite music channel. Thank you for making these. They're amazing.
System Shock 2 and Deus Ex - DAMN good games
This remix made me jogging for straight 3 hours, thank you!
Yes, all the yes. Damn fine remix!

How can you challenge a perfect, immortal machine?
This sounds like sumtn straight outta Samurai Jack.
the 1st minute is best, rest ok
If Andrew Hulshult is meant for Doom and Quake CHampions, This guy is for SS3.
I love this game so much i have like 400 hours on steam

Yeah my meds are used up, need to refill the prescription. 😅
Great song, but I was not ready for the anxiety spike hearing the midwives again brought
Best song in the game gets an awesome cover
absolute bänger
If you turn the image upside down, it looks like you're going through a cave. Old style graphics can be funny that way.
Did this and had flashbacks to Goldeneye lol.
Real
This is like Wipeout soundtrack xd
2:03 are you using a tb 303 for that sound?
Was that a moneky screaming at around the 4 minute mark?
Yes
Engineering 1 next?
As cool as the song is, when I play it in my playlist the song halts within a minute of playing. Does anyone else have this trouble?
If you are using UA-cam Revanced that might be an issue with the current version, I solved the same bug by updating it
yoooo

Good track though.
"Xenomorphs" in this case refers to the Annelids.
The Red Scare as in the Annelids of SS2? How could an entire games antagonist be considered non-canon?
not realistic, no assault rifle
Goes incredibly hard
