Hey Folks, Apologies, for not getting the video out sooner. I usually like to get a video out on a Monday or earlier sometimes, and then another video out later in the week. But, this week I had been working on a video tutorial that related to processing audio and I went down a rabbit hole that I nearly didn’t get back out of 😵💫. So, I started from scratch on this video yesterday and got it edited up today. I hope you find it useful as its not always obvious how much you can push the scaling of 4K video on a 1080 timeline especially when its presented as an aspect ratio rather than in pixels. 🤙
Another very useful video. Related question: what about de-scaling? Are there any concerns with that and resolution/compression later when uploading? Example: shooting for green screen, and vertical (for studio space issues), then scaling that down after keying and adding to a horizontal background. This question feels clumsy now, is it clear?
Generally when you downscale any video footage it retains the quality of the capture size and always looks nice crisp. So you should be good for doing vertical Chromakey’ing for it to be added to a 16:9 timeline… 🤙

We were in the midst of forming a search party. ..joking aside, I did keep coming on to YT looking for a new video. You were missed.
Thanks 🤗 Back on track now! 🤙 I just dropped my second video of the week for ya!

Very useful information!
Thank You Dani, How’s your week been? 🤙
@@IAMSTULITTLE crazy busy 🥴
this is probably exactly the information I’m looking for. Unfortunately I don’t understand your dialect😢
Switch on Closed Captions and you should be good.
@@IAMSTULITTLEthanks, didn’t know this feature😊
Also, my newer tutorials have the captions baked into the video as well. 🤙
