I've been driving the SEAT Tarraco as it hits the roads of Ireland. This version is the 2.0TDI 190bhp 4X4 model and promises to put it up to the 5008, Kodiaq, Tiguan Allspace and X-Trail.
Being closely linked to VW and Skoda, surely this 7 seat option should be on your consider list if you're shopping for one of these vehicles to get your family from A to B! It starts from just over €36,000 here in Ireland.

Look wise the VW allspace in R Line trim is better looking but the car is smaller than Skoda and Seat in terms of the extra 2 seats. Hard to decide Seat or Skoda.
I prefer the Seat Terraco because is good car I’m buying in June
Test driven it yesterday would definitely recommend this car hoping to get one at some point
you prolly dont give a shit but if you're stoned like me atm then you can stream pretty much all the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Have been streaming with my girlfriend these days =)
@Huxley Jamison definitely, have been watching on InstaFlixxer for since december myself :)
????????
Top-range spec in the UK comes in at around €42k (~£37k), that's over €2k less than the mid-range Xcellence costs in Ireland. Cars in Ireland are massively overpriced for no other reason than greed.
governments suck!
Very good, short to the point. Good job!
Love it when he says ‘class’
What is the namn of the colour on this car?
Pontus Ström reflex silver
Just ordered my tarraco same colour it's reflex silver.
Looks great when washed and fresh in silver!

This number of people. This amount of people?
Should have done his home work first. He says in video before you would have needed a Volvo for this many people, has he never heard of the far superior SEAT Alhambra. The Tarraco is a 4 plus 3 seater NOT a full size 7 seater! ie it only has 4 full size proper seats. The Alhambra is still vastly superior to it's new LITTLE brother. If only SEAT would see sense and upgrade the Alhambra with all the new spec.
Charles Burton if you think I’ve never heard of the Alhambra it’s you that needs to do your homework. In that style of vehicle, one that doesn’t have a door from a van on the side of it, in the 90’s etc you would’ve had to get something like Volvo. It’s also all my own opinion as a car enthusiast, you don’t have to agree with me but reading between your lines, you’ve an issue with SEAT.
Struggling to pick this or the 5008 SUV is their much different is mpg
Not a huge difference depending on engine. I'll have a petrol Terraco review soon if you want to hold out for that. I love the 5008, it probably feels a bit fancier in some ways but the solidness of the SEAT is hard to overlook too.
@@NobbyOnCars Thanks for replying Nobby I also would have thought the top trim excellence would have blind spot feature seems it missing excellent channel and subbed
W OCNS thank you very much!
@@NobbyOnCars Hey Nobby, just wondering did you ever do a review of the petrol model?
@@Monstergaming-qq8fm I didn't. I can ask!! :)
are the seats comfortable in the sport line get sore back if not comfortable does the 9.2 screen and sat nav come with the sport line as standard
hi Niall - sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Found the seats very comfortable. This one has the 8" screen as standard.

The boot is utterly useless. Imagine you carry some stuff with small peaces, it will roll into the opening left and right and you will be searching for it the remainder part of the car's life. I would NEVER by a car with design flows like that.....
makker008 or just put the small pieces into the side areas in the first place to stop them rolling?! 🤷🏼♂️
@@NobbyOnCars Let me give you an example: when I have done my garden, I have a lot of tree chunks with leaves on them, which I need to bring to the dump. When you do that with this car, the leaves will hunt you for ever. Your trunk should be closed like a pickup truck, or you will be searching for things forever.
@@makker0082 why would you buy this car to fill the boot with garden waste?when ever I do gardening I wrap the waste in a sheet before going any where near my car.For the record those gaps are only there because the parcel shelf sits under the flap you could just open it up and take the parcel shelf indoors and have a deeper boot.
Tarraco, Kodiaq or 5008? Any thoughts??
Exterior looks - SEAT, fancy stuff - 5008, all rounder - Kodiaq. All solid options, I think it's a personal preference thing really but if it were me, probably the Skoda.
@@NobbyOnCars Thank you! After reading about how the Tarraco looks a bit like an Audi which it really isn’t, I think too that the Kodiaq is the one for me. Now to rack up the €€€
Us there a DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control) option ? And, if so, how much cost and is it worth it ?
Donal Shanaghy €950 in Ireland, maybe if you’re going to want to tow something but it is really something people are going to change much on a car of this style? I dunno! I didn’t change it on the car once in a week.
@@NobbyOnCars Thank you for your very prompt reply. The DCC doesn't get much mention in the brochure/literature about the car. I feel that it might not be an essential or cost effective option. Thanks again.
Donal Shanaghy glass roof not much extra and I think would offer more enjoyment over DCC
It looks really nice. The front has a hint of the new Rav 4. Seems to be the style of choice for 2019
Hi, good video.
Which car would you buy, the Tarraco, Kodiaq 7 seater or the Tiguan Allspace?
I really love the Skoda as an all rounder. They all need options ticked to look better in my opinion, space wise they're all pretty much the same as they're the same car under the skin. I'm actually yet to drive the VW option. You can't ignore that the SEAT is the cheapest though!
What colour did you go for Tony?@Tony Bebich
