I have just learned that my father has died yesterday in his sleep, because of a heart attack. We have not spoken these months, had a small fight and were both too proud to talk to each other, could not even say goodbye to him. Never be to proud of showing love or affection for people who are close to you, tomorrow will be too late. I will never speak with my father again. This song hits too hard. Rest in peace, dad.
Yeah don't beat yourself up, I still remember looking my dad in the eyes as he was loaded onto an ambulance... He was always a fighter and I thought " ill pick you up tomorrow Dad"... He passed away and I didn't get to go into the hospital cause of COVID.

I don't understand the folks wanting this to sound like all the other albums. We already have those. Slipknot making new music that sounds "different" just draws in more types of fans and I personally love all of it since day one. No matter what your mood they have a song for that!

As a young fan who loves to headbang the shit out of Self-titled and Iowa, this album is freaking awesome, it's just about having an open mind and appreciate shades of Slipknot that we haven't seen before.

I find this to be an OK album. This and hive mind are the best tracks. This song does feel like the end of an era. And the fact that it is Shawn in the the video just makes sense. He is the mastermind behind slipknot...
The last minute of the track hits hard. Feels like a final farewell to slipknot. R.I.P to Joey and Paul and any fans who past away 🙏

Roadrunner will surely miss Slipknot. This was their biggest signed band for sure. Even other bands signed to the label complained about how much attention the label put on them.

I know, Corey has said as much too. But in terms of the 'Roadrunner era' or the '7 album contract' (whatever you want to call it), it's a beautiful ending. Fitting as well that Clown is the visualizer for this song, the 'Knot's been his baby since day one with Joey and Paul, God rest their souls.

OK, so after listening the whole album I can, definitely say that this is the best Slipknot album. It has such an unique melancholic Silent Hill-esque and Opeth-esque atmosphere mixed with death/thrash metal guitars and lovely psychedelic art rock passages. This is pure art!

Self titled and Iowa were brutal but not mature, vol 3 is just excelent, ahig is brutal, but has calm pieces too, but my personal favourite is .5 which has perfect balance of everything, and the atmosfphere is unbeatable...

A mess of things I couldn’t describe or begin to put into words if I was to open up to anyone about how I’m feeling but this song does it well.
Slipknot is an unstoppable machine. Mixing words and melodies in a way that unleashes inner demons and puts them to rest.
SLIPKNOT!!!! Man, they just described the misery of an individual who works his ass off to make a living. You may love your life or hate it, but you still gotta live it and that's the bitter truth. Hard days come by as soon as happy days arrives, but you gotta accept it!

Idk why but when this song ended I start crying with how beautiful how atmospheric it sounded near the end and how it reminded me of the journey of this album, the way this album is structured and just how different it is just amazes me and I’m so happy I enjoyed everything from it. I know most won’t like it cuz of how different it is but I love it for that

I agree I think this is my favorite song off the album. I gotta say first playthrough album I dont like it. But I'll listen to it a few more times. Sometimes it takes a bit. Reminds me of vol 3, that one took me ahwile and now I appreciate it alot more. I just like super heavy in your face slipknot, but I respect them for mixing it up.

I'm one of those kids from the 90's that was walking around with Slipknot's debut album in my CD Player, Been listening to them for that long and I gotta say this new album is amazing. I can't stop listening to it
What an album. A great mix of everything after Iowa with some nods to the classic stuff. I love how unique it still is to other Slipknot stuff and other music in general. The guitars and drumming are very reminiscent of AHIG and Vol.3 and the scratching and sampling similar to T.G.C. with vocals from WANYK. Absolutely great for me.
It's an evolution for the band isnt it? Like its sprinkles of some of the other albums, but it goes in uncharted territory for them, and its pulled off so well
Man, I love the pizzicato strings in this song, they add a magical and familiar aura to an already beatiful song. One of the best Slipknot has ever made, in my opinion. And Sid's scratches, the guitar at 2:19, so different instruments working so perfectly together. And the choir at the end... the cherry on the cake. It's in songs like this one where this band really shines and reveals what great musicians they really are.
This is what true growth in a genre looks like you guys are still killing it regardless of what y'all been thru thank you so much for giving your fans the best

Slipknot has been one of the frankly few bands from back in the day that, when they release a new album, it's something to get excited about, you know it will (usually) be good in a specific way that makes them stand apart.

Translation: Slipknot was the first nu metal band I listened to, and to be honest, I don't regret that it became my favorite. This album is exactly the combination that I wanted to find for so long. Thanks guys, you are the best. I sincerely hope that the band will continue its work and continue to delight people with its music.

It might be the last album, but not the last song.
I constantly deal with emergencies and unexpected issues that impact the healthcare system. If I fail, then people's lives are affected. It's a constant struggle, and stressful, and I've sacrificed so much to be able to perform my duties, but I've been doing it for so long that I've grown used to the challenge and couldn't see myself leaving it up to someone else. This song makes me feel like someone understands.
The way the scratching from Sid and the guitar blend together is just amazing
