So lovely to see a new video from you. I'm loving the images you shared. Your combo of camera and lens here worked really well. It sounded quite relaxing to set the lens up and not worry too much about focusing and all that.
Thank you :-) I absolutely love 28mm for walking around. Exactly as you said - it was nice to not think about focusing and just the picture. I had a break from wanting to do that, but this re-kindled something.
Not vintage, but I’ve really enjoyed the manual Zeiss 35 f2 and TT Artisans 50 1.4 lens on the Sony, it’s a nice shooting experience doing mf with the evf.
Thanks for the suggestions William. I need to practice manual focus with longer focal lengths - 28mm feels like cheating :-) It would be nice to take some portraits with it.
I’ve used Canon and Sony but neither of them gave me the feelings that Fujifilm had gave me. You can see the difference between between them, the little noise of Fuji sensor, colors and the joy of using it. It’s something different. I have Sony A7iii and I barely using it.
Hi Chris - another great video, thank you. We are travelling to Malaga for the first time later this year, it looks an amazing place and I know you visit there quite often, do you have any “must see” recommendations? - Cheers - Peter
I haven’t got around to using the A7C for photos, just video, so great to see some stills from it- are you grading the photos in a way to give it a more film look as they grade is great!
Great video, if it’s like my Sony a5100 you control everything with the round dial, in aperture priority mode just rotate it, while in manual mode first you click on the bottom to select shutter speed or aperture and then rotate it. Hope you find it useful, let me know.
Hi Chris, I think you should wait for a Nikon Zf, it's on the radar. The colors coming from Sony here are not to the level we were used to from your artistry. The microcontrast from the Nikon lens is there, but the colors balance and tonality seems off to my eyes. There's something about Sony that is artificial. But I always enjoy your compositions.
This is beautiful... i just purchased the A7C and it is stunning.
Thank you! Enjoy the camera 🙂

What a beautifully documented trip! The old vintage lens looks great!
Thank you. I have a few other old ones I want to try. I think it'll be fun.
Nice pics!! I wonder if I could use an AFS lens, with no aperture ring, with a7c and adapter?
Thank you. I have used a couple of old lenses on this. If you find the right adapter it works great.

Yes, Fuji make really lovely cameras.

Thank you Peter. That's great that you're visiting. Say hi when you're here. I will think more about places and add to this later.

Hey Toby, thank you. Yes I've graded the heck out of them ! 🙂 Trying for a slightly Porta/Ektar look, but I play with each one individually.
@@ChrisBoland nice. I look forward to a grading video soon 😉
I'll just send it to you :-)
I have this camera too with The Samyang 24mm 2.8 it makes it a great everyday Camera and great for vlogging too
Thanks for the suggestion Max. I looked at those Samyang lenses and they're so light and tiny.

Thank you Francesco - that's exactly it :-)
Colores artificiales, Fujifilm es fantastica en colores.
Gracias por tus pensamientos.

Thank you, a Zf sounds really interesting.
