Anthony, I know Motley Crue but I can’t say I know much about them. I had a CD or two I did enjoy your talk and your passion for the group. As a teenager, these are the kind of bands that stay with you
Thank you Steve I appreciate your kind words! Definitely spent a large amount of time listening to a lot of metal in all the sub genres that exist. There are times I fall away from it but certain bands artists always come back around to me.
I saw them first time 5 November 1984 opening act for Iron Maiden in Helsinki, Finland. And since then seen all their concerts in Finland, except one, the last.
Excellent!!! Considering all the controversy between backing tapes and Vince’s vocal range and lack of knowing the lyrics you probably didn’t miss much ! Thanks for checking out the channel if you haven’t subscribed yet , please do !!!
Yea, great video! Shame about the never released 3rd boxset; there might have been some Personality #9 (Gen Swine with Corabi) goodies.
This would never have happened if Gene Simmons the master of the cash in was in charge lol. Thanks for checking out the channel and if you haven’t already subscribed please do!
I own all the box sets (except the Crucial Crüe set) .
Music to Crash your Car to 1&2. The End vinyl box set which is basically a tomb stone! I have a cool Dr Feelgood studded bag with all kinds of sh*t inside including the album. And recently I have the Shout at the Devil box set.
Gotto love The Crüe.
I’m on the fence about by the Shout Box , The End box is one I gotta hunt down !!!
@@AntOnMusic13 yes the Shout box was a lot of cash for effectively one album. The Dr Feelgood bag release is rather bizarre though! There’s a drum stick in it! A medical report pad, playing cards etc. lots of odd things!
TO ME WITHOUT MICK MARS N REPLACED" For get about it!! It's MOTLY PUE! Nothin against your ch. Its all good!
They can’t REALLY carry on without him.
I saw Cheap Trick support Crüe on the Theatre of Pain Tour. 👍
Nice!!! Both bands were pretty much top of their game ! Thanks for checking out the channel! Hope you stick around and check a few more out and subscribe if you haven’t already!
that is awesome..!!! I saw that tour as well... but I remember Y&T was the opening act, ( Worcester ,Mass) I didn't have the luck of seeing Cheap Trick open. I definitely would have rather seen that. I love them..!!!
Cool collection
Thank you !!!
Can you do a room tour
@mattc756 yes!!! After a good SPRING CLEANING!!! Lol
Cool
Im interested who played guitar on Generation Swine. Phil X did a lot of work with Scott Humphrey in the late 90s early 00s. The solo on the title track sounds like Rick Nielson from Cheap Trick
So I did a little digging and what I found was that Rick is on the album but not credited for guitar. He and Robin Zander perform background vocals on Glitter . David Darling and John Corabi are also on the the album for rhythm guitar but Crab was uncredited but it doesn’t specify which tracks.
@AntOnMusic13 Mick says this album really "fucked him up" mentally. He should go public with the details to get it off his chest. The guitar on Gen Swine is amazing and the players should be credited.
@internetmoney221 I’m sure we will get the whole story one day! I wouldn’t be surprised if Mick did an autobiography once he’s done with the Crue .
“Motley Cuh!” That’s terrible but typical that they haven’t put the 3rd volume out! They probably just forgot, all the brain fog.
I think that was a low point for the band and it probably didn’t sell particularly well. I still wish they would finish it off properly.
Do you think Vince meant to kill Razzle? Also, do you think Vince made him ride along? Also, do you think Razzle was sober?
Idk, maybe don’t act like Vince hasn’t been through hell in his life, & forced anyone to ride with him, when Razzle knew Vince was drunk. Would u hate a friend for the rest of ur life, that had killed a sibling of urs, while driving drunk? Surprised you didn’t make a fat comment towards Vince. Btw, Corabi sucks & so did the cd they made with em. Don’t believe me? Check the tour numbers, bro!!! Or check how many albums it sold.
I appreciate the comments. Not sure if you watched the whole video but I do acknowledge that Vince has had more than his fair share of heartache but he’s also been given way more opportunities and chances than any of us would get. Maybe I’m harsh because my wife & I were hit head on by a drunk driver. Saying Corabi sucks sounds petty but everyone is entitled to their opinion. I think the album came at a time when hair metal as a whole was on the downside due to the ascension of grunge and the change in personnel. I didn’t like it at all at the time but looking back it’s got a few solid tracks. Thanks for checking out the channel I do appreciate it .
@@AntOnMusic13 and you’ve never driven drunk in your entire life? Cuz I know when I was young like Vince was when it happened, I did it occasionally. Which is obviously stupid but sometimes youth equals stupid decisions. Or do you not drink? Corabi just wasn’t a good fit plus they should’ve changed their name when it happened! Imo anyway.
@heathertiller3644 we were all young and dumb once made many poor decisions. Luckily I never harmed anyone or myself. Approaching 8 years sober and grateful for every day .
Btw here’s an article on the Corabi error of the Crue that was just published earlier this morning.

@@AntOnMusic13 your first sentence explains my point perfectly. We were purely lucky that we didn’t have the same kind of fortune that Vince had. He did nothing different that I didn’t do when I was young, but he killed someone in an accident while drunk, which I could’ve easily done at different points in my youth.
Don’t forget the 2 other people who have sustained lifelong injuries as a result of the accident. They seem to get lost in the shuffle. It was a tragedy that has had long lasting consequences for Vince as well as the others involved in the crash and their families & friends.
i saw them in the 80s the 90s and the vince neil band in the 2010s, each show was worse than the last. they dont give a flying f^ck how bad they sound.
Agreed !!! They definitely suffer from the law of diminishing returns. I was at the farewell tour at Madison Square Garden and Vince was god awful. I haven’t seen them since .
Thank you for the comment! If you haven’t subscribed….WHAT THE HELL are you waiting for !
@@AntOnMusic13 lol, i did enjoy your commentary!
I have a tendency to forget to plug in the filter sometimes lol
@@AntOnMusic13 life is better unfiltered, keep up the good job!!
@izzimichaels2892 thank you!!!
