Mohammed interviews the life-size social robot Sophia (created by Hanson Robotics Limited) at the UN General Assembly Second Committee and the Economic and Social Council joint meeting on "The future of everything - sustainable development in the age of rapid technological change."
It's truly mind blowing how amazing and precise we humans are physically. I mean that robot took decades to make with the best of engineers and scientists behind it yet it still has so many flaws. Nobody will ever be able to make something even close to what the lord has created
A decade later this video will remind us where we started and where we've reached now. ..

I don't think so. All those stuffs we keep looking in movies let us think like that. It's just a machine like a telephone and all, you can control. It will never replace human, it can not work without human. That's it.

I used to play a game called second life, for which, a friend of mine programmed a spare computer to act as a player-character in the game. It's responses where more limited due to it only being a side project, but it learned new things from every conversation it had. Neat parlor trick, but not terribly impressive. Even if it convinced random people it was "smart."
"Sophia" Seems to be one step down from that, with pre-programmed responses and a massive data bank to store them all (If they are stored after each interview at all.) If you know anything about this kind of coding it is not all that special or amazing.
As for the physical mechanics of the face, I'm sure you can see the short comings of it yourself.
Hanson has a long way to go, and the fact that he is showing off Sophia now is not promising for her fate.

She was even tactful to not mention the real issues, being the governments controlling their country by supressing their access to basic needs. The way she said it was the best possible reply. Note that a CPu can make 300k requests per second. This pause she had before answering means she went through 600k possible answers and chose the most politicaly correct one.

The robot is delivering only the input programmes. Its answers seems to be browsed output , very quickly in the blink of eyes. It can never replace God created human being. It is game only to enjoy and kill the time.

In so many places in africa their us still no electricity. ..no water...no gaz line to keep u warm at night. ..I'm canadian n have personal experiences living in North africa since 2013...in a village 5 minutes away from main gaz lines and still after 5 years being here...the village still freeze in winter n live in their houses with winter clothes on to sleep eat ...it's sad really...
