The originality in Udit Narayan's voice ufffff. Though 90s had Kumar Sanu but Udit Narayan kept going irrespective of competition. He started mainstream in 1988 and continued full fledged till 2008....man 20 years is a real long time to be among top singers in Bollywood. Also, he is the ONLY SINGER in HISTORY to have won filmfare awards in THREE DIFFERENT DECADES --- in 80s for QSQT, in 90s for Raja Hindustani / DDLJ / Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and in 2000s for Lagaan....this shows the longevity of the man. He didn't belong to an era.....he was a FORCE across eras. Most of 90s singers have lost their voice but Udit ji still has got it !! That's the greatness of this living legend.

The drum beats at the intro symbolize Radha’s jalan, she envies the Gopi’s.
End of first antara, there is an orchestral string when camera is panned on Rachel Shelly- a westernized element to sigify that the English Lady is deep into this leela and she feels it strongly.
The Mohan Veena at the 2nd interlude is by Pt Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, a pioneer and inventor of the instrument variant.
