If you have a healthcare spending account, there is a roll over amount and a use it or lose it amount. Amazon makes it easy by labeling HSA/FSA eligible.
Love the monthly gear review idea but maybe stick to only one tech item per month. I think a lot of us are simple people and don’t really care about the newest tech gadget that will be obsolete in 2-5 years.
I own 2 of the items and have already heard about most of these items. Giving us a more complete review is helpful to people who buy this type of stuff. The discount is also helpful to people who would buy and use most of these things. If everything here is news to you, my guess is you may only want to hear about one per month and buy one per decade. That is okay.
I have the Garmin ForeRunner 955 Solor and it is SOLID, no light but I have pretty much ALL the features turned on and it still gives me 2 weeks of charge
I'd like to see a series of Amazon hidden finds (apologies if been done already). I'd like to see these channels try and get the cost down for preppers and preparedness people. The Gerber Shard which cost me $8 replaced both my knife and leatherman for simple everyday stuff. If somebody is struggling for cash and cant afford the fancy leatherman and a decent knife, Gerber Shard will see you through. The cost of these watches and cases are ridiculous. I lived all of my British Military career and subsequent adventures with a $60 G-Shock that couldn't be killed. I tried. Others tried. That watch lasted 6 years and 4 combat deployments before the battery said no mas. 60 bucks. Never needed anything more from a watch and I'm out in the wilderness constantly. I run, hike, camp. G-Shock baby.
With the exception of the charge port, everything on the Garmin stated a a negative can be changed. Also, the nato bands and ultrafit bands last forever but they will stink overtime.
Hi Mike, About the Garmin watch try out the Garmin Tactix 7 Pro series it’s more fit for you. No issues with extreme-heat, sauna or extreme-cold. I have mine for 2-3 year(approximately) and I enjoy a lot but it took me a year to understand the logic and the functions behind the build. Than every thing make senses. Erik
Hey SGM, I like to keep things mostly old fashioned with some new things, batteries don't last long. I keep a laminated map of the Area, a compass, I bought an old civil war era range finder (They don't cost much like $10-$15), a small hand crack radio that also has a built in flashlight and a Garmin insight because they do last a while, if my batteries ever fail then I'll have to use the stars as a navigation tool, a lot of people don't even know constellations and how to use them as guides.
As for the med kit, I have both the "J" case and the "MC" case. I did not have to go thru a tele-conference. I think as long as there are no questionable answers on the survey, no face to face or voice contact is necessary. I'll be looking into the Wellness case also. Great info as usual Mike!
Don't know about the Garmin brand watches but for my Samsung watch I bought a paracord wrist band and have had it for years. Highly recommend if it's available.
I would keep the title simple Mike. Monthly Prepared Gear Review or something like that instead of “Prepper” Gear because it makes it sound more hoaky to use the term “Prepper” to some folks. Just my 2 cents. Thanks.
Most of these dudes are the guy who hikes with all the gear and ski poles. I’m like that little 10 year old girl who does the same thing (maybe better) In sandals.

That starlink setup is badass.

Thank you Mike, much appreciated.
I got the Garmin Instinct 2 no issues in the Sauna. The red light is clutch.
All my native Hawaiian/ mixed Asian bros instantly got hungry hearing that Shin-Ramyun reference 🤣 add some musubi and I’m a happy man 👌
I'd like to recommend the title "prep up or shut up"

Try the Garmin instinct, I had mine 4 years and beat the hell out of it

"The Monthly Loadout" aka "The Monthly Prep" is a good name.
Salute, sir.
Noice, thanks for sharing, Merry Chrysler

What is the shelf life for Shin saimin or other similar products?
Where is the link in the notes to the Wellness Co Field Kit?
Just added. Sorry for the delay
Great information as always Mike! God bless brother!

You should try the garmin solar instinct 2
so whats the expiration date of everything. something important but is never touched on
Lmao mike showing the light on the garmin tho
I love my smartwatch but would much rather have a quality automatic and a Silva compass.
Hard "t" on shooting, fresh off boat!
Thoughts on gladiator as being first truck but also as a prepared daily driver and weekend warrior for overlanding
Jeep sucks. Anything Chrysler sucks, and that's based off personal experience and not brand bias. Get yourself a Tacoma and call it a day.
@@JohnnyUtah949agreed taco or ranger for sure. Hell even a diesel Colorado. Anything but a Chrysler product!
