Hi Art Teacher, I like the technique of using a thumbnail size for each value. Also, it's great you did a 6 value scale. I'm learning oil painting now and we have a similar scale, we have 4 actual grey oil paints of different values and we mix them to create three more values for a total of 7. And one of the first assignments was a sphere too :)
