What do you mean by getting 10 minutes on paper based and 2 on computer based time, tuitor? Edit:Oh I get it now it's about time to transfer answers but is it really a time like that? That the examiner let you have your time to transfer your answers? 🤔😯
Last time I did this, I got 7 only because I didn't answer the economic term of tax. Argh. Not to mention it was the first part of Listening. I aced the 3rd and 4th part of the listening 😀

If the question allows you to write "no more than two words" and the candidate just writes one, is the answer correct? E.g.: let's imagine the correct answer according to Cambridge Assessment is "physical exercise" (two words) and the candidate just writes "exercise" (one word). Theorically, candidate's answer wouldn't be right, but the question does not specify that it MUST be a two-word answer no matter what, but it shouldn't be more than two. It's a bit tricky.
Hi! Sometimes both answers are acceptable - exercise or physical exercise - especially when they mean almost the same thing. Sometimes not, for example, "management" won't be accepted instead of "time management" because they have different meaning. The meaning of the whole sentence must be correct.

I was more fluent and confident and I was just very naturally calm and everything was good. But i made two mistakes: I mispronounced two words: Reciprocal and Monotonous I put the wrong stress. But the rest of the speaking was perfect literally. Do u think that I might still have a chance of getting 8.5 in this part or should i not expect that bcs of those two mistakes? Not to brag but i think i gotta say my pronunciation is literally perfect only those two mistakes pls tell me🙏🙏🙏🙏

Hey, just a small doubt. I have been practicing from Cambridge ielts academic 15 and in the answer key, some words are written in brackets. Is it compulsory to write those too, for the answer to be correct?
How to identify length of the answer. For example, the recording says “in your room”. So answer should be “room” or “in your room”. This is bit challenging when it comes to fill in the blanks..

I had a speaking test today.

The instructions are always above the questions. Always read it for proper guidance on how many words your answers should be.
