Imagine this game with a partner where you could help eachother along. Levels could make scenarios where you have to reach out and grab your friends hand to help them across and such. That would be so fun.
Well they did say: - Limited number of levels - Could be seen as too simplistic and repetitive to some, considering they're dropping $30 for it. It's not for everyone - Visuals are a step down from PC, naturally - No multiplayer. They even said Crytek dropped the ball on this opportunity in the review - Might cause discomfort for some as you crane your neck a lot in this game But yes, let's ignore and pretend those things weren't said in the video. There's being a fan and a fanboy.
if only Crytek hasn't suffered financial issues back in 2014 then they would have still continued making big-budget, visually-mind blowing, and graphically outstanding games that push CryENGINE and current-generation gaming hardwares to their limits
The last decade? 2013 - Crysis 3 2013 - Ryse Son of Rome 2016 - Robinson the Journey (VR) 2016 - The Climb (VR) 2018 - Hunt: Showdown 2020 - Crysis Remastered 2021 - The Climb 2 Crytek haven’t gone anywhere my friend, they continue to create great games with more great projects to come!
So in the IGN comment sections opinion, what's the go-to VR headset? There are games on several different headsets I'd like to play, but the price point for exclusivity is a lot.
Looks interesting. But the graphics really feel first gen PSVR. Don’t they scale higher? Seems like modern PCs should be able of much better fidelity, even at 90-120fps.
The Quest 2 is badass, and really impressive what it can do as a standalone VR headset. You can increase the resolution using Sidequest, but your battery will drain faster. And you can now play PCVR wirelessly with it using Virtual Desktop. Its worth every penny
blade and sorcery it dosnt sound lik you could really climb in there but you can and its sick you there isnt reallly obstacles that the game points to you just climb up mountians
Man, these Quest 2 textures are looking like a bunch of potatoes, not gonna lie... They might have gotten the mobility with that headset but they really drove graphics into the ground.

Easily a day one purchase for me. I'd love to see IGN and Game Scoop both cover VR more myself.
Probably the best gaming experience I’ve had with VR

It’s definitely an okay experience
Ok? No sir. It's amazing. With all the new courses it's must buy.
IGN: Says almost nothing negative
Also IGN: yeah... we gave it a 7

Too short, should be $20
Without gravity, what is climbing?
if only Crytek hasn't suffered financial issues back in 2014 then they would have still continued making big-budget, visually-mind blowing, and graphically outstanding games that push CryENGINE and current-generation gaming hardwares to their limits
This game is blessing for enthusiastic but lazy people.
def not for lazy people, it's a great workout!
An disabled people..
You need to move your hands so much wat do you mean
Not everyone can afford or want to risk themselves climbing IRL lmao. Doesn’t mean we’re lazy 🙄
Yeah let me just climb a hill without safeguards real quick

Crytek? Is this where they've been for the last decade, I've always wondered what happened to them
Hunt: Showdown is also using their engine.
They released Crysis remastered last year, it isn't that great though
The last decade?
2013 - Crysis 3

They should get the license for Cliff Hangers (1993) and use the experience of making this game to make that

Damn was really hoping for multiplayer
this is sick! im trying to find the game that Storror is helping make with motion capture, anyone got an idea what game it is?
This is cool but what do we do in this game?
Looks interesting. But the graphics really feel first gen PSVR. Don’t they scale higher? Seems like modern PCs should be able of much better fidelity, even at 90-120fps.
It’s Quest exclusive for now. So it’s actually running on a smartphone chipset
Cliffhanger - the Crytek cut
Make some weighed controls and it would make for a decent arms/shoulders workout.
Maybe just with some weighted arm bands
Hopefully porter robinson will stream this on twitch
In case you are wondering they said:
7/10
How is there a profitable market of vr headset users who are also into climbing?
Why would you have to be into climbing to play this game? Are Pokémon players into catching animals and making them fight?
Quest 2 owners like me are livin it
Just don't look down haha
Where can you buy this? Says the release is today
In 1 hour
Imagine if the climb 3 is just uncharted set pieces
Its only available on Oculus quest? Thats pretty lame...

The Quest 2 is badass, and really impressive what it can do as a standalone VR headset. You can increase the resolution using Sidequest, but your battery will drain faster. And you can now play PCVR wirelessly with it using Virtual Desktop. Its worth every penny
the link cable allows the quest to run pc games...pc games have much better graphics than mobile games, obviously you need a gaming pc ;)
@@dan_kitty_vr5107 what do mobile games have to do with anything?
