Adidas shirts always have a little lable saying the year dave, well modern ones .. Sometimes they are to the right or left of the size tag on the shoulder 👍
Only recently found your channel Dave, really enjoying the videos, it's great to see someone researching prices before the end and being genuinely honest about the potential in them as opposed to wild guesses! 🙌
In regards the football shirts, as others have said, there were definitely a fair few dodgy ones there unfortunately, he had a strange mix it seemed. In general terms, the older the better, with the 90s being a real sweet spot at the moment, it's easy for someone who knows football to look at that Dreamcast Arsenal shirt and know it has age, but if you don't, you won't, all takes time and research as you say, the odd mistake isn't a bad thing at all to help you to know what to look out for, I look at motorcycle gear and don't have the foggiest what I'm looking at!

@@ABLReselling if you google Villa 2019/20 shirt, there is a genuine shirt on the left and a fake one next to it on the right…. You will see the colour difference but the main thing is the club badge, pretty obv when they are side by side

hi dave just watched your video around the 5 min mark you got a price of £4 for the shirts you got 2 then a price for the coat £10 total would be £18 for the 3 items you offered £15 and he fired back £20 and you paid now that wasn't the best negotiating lol

I did actually find a trader that took card.
the black liverpool shirt isnt a training shirt bud, it was the third kit that was used in the 2007-2008 season for european games, also just be careful when buying from that seller as ive been a few times to him at bolton and he sold many fakes so just keep and eye out on the tags and what not as there are many very good copies of football shirts, the tottenham one you picked up and put back was also a fake i was at this car boot and checked it myself so just be aware mate

Hi Dave, I agree with Arsenal and Celtic shirt, I would have also picked up Rangers and ManU. There are many fakes around, I bought some myself unfortunately:( Easy way to be sure about authenticity, especially if they are Nike or Adidas, is to check inside label which any item from those brands should have.

Very interesting video. I have a question. Have you ever managed to sell a used motorcycle helmet on ebay? You clearly know what you're talking about which makes it even more interesting to me... As being a biker I would never ever buy a used helmet so genuinely interested if they actually sell?
They do sell, but obviously it’s very important to do you due diligence checking they’re a’ok.
On that white Liverpool shirt, if the adidas stamp in the bottom corner of the front is a hard plastic, I don’t think it’s genuine sadly
