Hell uuueeeesssss! Dakkon for the win!!! He is my utmost favourite card in magic and he is never played in commander so I'm so happy to see this game play out.
Dakkon Blackblade steals your shit! Loved it! Stealing seedborn muse is great. I did it when playing the C19 precons with Geth, lord of the vault in the Anje deck.
Well, Dakkon really went off! Apparently it's super cool! Also, a really different way to play that combination of colours XD Also, Morophon giants is something i yet had to see. Thanks for picking a not boring tribe XD
Just pointing out: the trigger from Smothering Tithe is mandatory. If you forget to create the treasure token at the time of the draw, you create it later.
Does Kenrith every actually win a game? What is it's win condition? It's no.1 commander on EDHrec right now and as far as I see how does it even win? I was looking at deck-lists and sure it looks fun but I don't see how it wins.
Kenrith. IMO the best commander card of 2019. than my #2 would be Volrath. i have yet saw my version on how i build my King Kenrith deck. i would love to try it on camera one day.
@@horribleville i have no infinite combo. my deck is mainly 5 colour good stuff with a little twist and a theme in it. so far it's pretty cool how it works.
I think there was a misplay. In the opening turn Max flooded strands into a plateau which he can’t do. I’m sorry if you mention this later but I’m commenting this as I watch the video
No that was a correct play. Fetch lands like flooded strand dont search basic lands but the subtypes like plains and island in this case and plateau is a plains as well a mountain so you can play it like that.
Dakkon Blackblade is almost as bad as the original legends, he has no abilities what so ever, he's only as big as the lands you have, but I guess you can build an esper deck that doesn't need it's commander in order to work, but why would you when you have so many great esper commanders? I use blackblade reforged in my mono green Seton deck as one of my alternative wincons, the main one being craterhoof and a massive amount of creatures.
SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER ========== Another Commander game that came down to "Infinite mana into an X spell?" Not even an "on theme" combo. Sorry that you had to waste your time playing, filming, and editing this.
@@horribleville - That's where you went with that, huh? Aside from your ass-hile attitude, I agree with you when you say every game doesn't need to be that. However, you seem to lack the laterall critical thinking skills to see the following: 1. I mentioned that it was not a thematic combo. Having a thematic combo is way better than the generic "I go infinite with Coffers and cast the non-thematic X spell". 2. Battlecruiser is not the only way for games to end. Niv Mizzit + Curiosity & Learn from the Past is non-infinite and thematic. A Mizzix of the Izmagnus which casts Enter the Infinite (an Izzet guild spell) into free mana rocks and Lab Man (mad scientist is on theme) is a non-infinite way to win. I can go on and on with INTERESTING and THEMATIC ways to win games which are not 2 hours of battlecruiser. But I guess you cannot think that far ahead.
If I may interject. The theme to the deck was an Esper Lands matter type of deck, in which I attempt to cast huge spells to pull out a win. Torment is in there to try and close out long games. This game, though seemingly shorter through edit, was just shy of about an hour. I thought my deck performed very well and satisfied the theme I was going for, so I felt ending the game on that note was a fine play. I definitely see where you're coming from, but felt like explaining my side of things. Thanks for taking the time to watch the video!
@@em-jaelam4460 - Thanks for the insight. I am glad your deck worked the way you want it to. I saw you list and like the original Ob Nixilis fo landfall triggers far more thannthe Torment win, but you play what you draw. I too have an esper combo-control deck. I also have the Commander 2017 kings of Meletis which is a landfall deck with Walking Atlas and Retreat to Coralhelm as an infinite landfall combo.
Martin's Dakkon probably is one of the most watdafuk decks I've seen on this channel.
Seems superfun!
Diluvian Primordial not wrathing the board was the misplay
As soon as Martin played Blackblade Reforged while Dakkon was on board, it was game over. The flavor was too stronk.
11/10
As a note, the Morophon deck was actually Martin's, not mine :) I'm hoping to get a good Kenrith game on camera soon
just wanted to say a turn 2 Tithe with you as the first player seems like a decent start.
The hand felt awesome, but it was the old problem of having a powerful opener, getting everyone's attention, and having no follow-up
Is it possible to have the list even though its not yours pls ?

People playing on MTG Muddstah's channel and not paying for Rhystic Study, can't name a better duo
Hoping morophon goes off. I really like morophon god tribal. Pretty wacky things can happen
Martin is living the dream casting Blackblade Reforged with a Dakkon Blackblade! I mean seriously! What is cooler than that
Please do another game with Kenrith. Didn't really get to show it off this game.
"Endure. In enduring grow strong."
I see Planescape Torment shoutouts and I upvote. What can I say, I'm a simple man.
Hi Muddstah! Always love how diverse your games are here. I have never seen a dakkon before. Haha! How about a Syr Gwyn game?
Naming Giants
Wait, NAMING WHAT
Never seen a dakkon before. Reminds me of the artifact mana red guy
darretti?
Aidan Quiett the one there attack and toughness is equal to your untapped artifacts and lands I think
@@ivernedit Oh, yeah, I think its from Onslaught block. I remember him, just not his name
Miraxis or something like that?
Maraxus I think. Power and toughness are equal to the number of untapped lands, artifacts and creatures.

I've beeen wanting to build a Dakkon deck, strong showing
Spencer Venema I have to say the artist who does dakkon is my absolute favorite. In the lore wasnt dakkon basically mind controlled until he died?
I like how you are so used to Rhystic Study and not Smothering Tithe, that you went to draw a card instead of getting a treasure multiple times
Shouldn't Grave Titan cost 6? Immortal Sun cancels out the rhystic study tax.
Its weird om My phone: the life totals are half off the screen.
Would like the Morophon deck list.
I was very confused by why that Amulet was in the deck. But it all came together!
Amulet goes with Patron of the Moon
You know, Homeward Path is a fun card to have around.
You lost because you were bottom right, you're never bottom right
Good guy Martin, didn't equip Blackblade to end someone's life immediately

Here for Kenrith, building one myself after winning a playset in a silent auction :)
We need to see that giant deck again with the two new Titans.
I have a Kefnet deck that has a similar strategy to Martin’s deck. His is way more powerful. And consistent probably, lol.
The giant tribal deck will get some nice new toys in the return to Theros
That was a thing of beauty!
Spoiler Alert: game ends at 6:44 via flavor combo.
What happen to this match, it when out control
how is this powerlevel fun?
Azami decklist?
I kid you not, when I first saw Dakkon Blackblade and read his ability. I thought the word "lands" was "ladys"
Hey Andrew, how did you feel allowing the Azami player have a Muse?
