The "cable guy" will fix it perfectly🔝🆒️🤙🏼
That was adults LEGO 👍👍👍
Hey, I bought my 740i E38 because of you mate, always a pleasure to watch your video 👍
The wiring looks so damn hard, it's so hard to get my head around it and you've completed it very well, kudos to you man that job wasn't easy at all
Your attention to detail is unparralled. Excellent work!
Thank you for having the courage to do this. Historical.
On the K line main bundle, i swear they have written, ' here lies your doom, abandon all hope'..
Really nice I hope this car will be alive one day. Awesome video hope to see this car once in my lifetime.
Hi Ed
Hats off to you buddy, good work💪
This is incredible, I love this project
Bloodyhell ED 🤷🤷🤷unbelievable wiring for this old beast…got a headache just looking 👀 at the huge pile.🤷if you complete all the wiring back in it’s rightful place…YOUR THE NUMBER 1 TOP BIMMER GUY in my book…I would of made a video when taking the wiring out….👌🏻🇬🇧
Fun fact: the E38s (7 series 1995 to 2001) predecessor, the E32 (7 series 1988 to 1994) has about 75 pounds (34 kgs) of copper wiring alone. BMW was not keen on the E38 requiring four to ten times that so BMW went to a fiber optic vehicle network instead.
Good job bro
Ed, you are a mad man and I respect that. This car will be amazing when it's done.
Great build!
Keep up the good work, you'll get there...👍
To prevent scratching the paint: just get yourself some protective transportation film and wrap up the panels. Easy to remove once you've finished the assembly.
The first scratch will be the worst... 😮
So many beemers WOW!
i am doing my own E38, but your stuff is made of nightmares :-D that wiring job is just insane, i wouldnt even know where to start on it, hats off! and doing it all in cold, you are a warrior :-D
A mega task - excited to see the next episode 💪
My E36 is having a lot of rust cut out at the moment, this feels like I’m watching my own project shape up
It’s great to see the big Alpina back on the channel! I’m very excited to see the next steps of this superb restoration.
we need more videos dude... you will get bigger, maybe take some editing tips from M539 restorations but keep doing your thing
Great job, if I would tear my E36 this far apart it most likely would never get back together.
I would have section labelled it as you took it out. Huge job 👏
You are E38 Beast! 🔥💪🥳😎
Absolutely Fabulous job. Cannot wait to see this one up and running. Happy holidays all and stay safe.
Nice work coming along!
wow nice so far and goodluck with the rest of the build
I agree with you, the wireing is the hardest part, good job 👍👍👍
Amazing work. I recently restored my E38 and saw the wires when I pulled the carpets out for re dying. Can't even imagine removing the whole wire harness. It's a nightmare. Your E38 will be the best in the world after it's done. Really looking forward to more videos!
Excellent job as always, that was the hardest part😀can't wait for more
Wow Ed, I can’t believe you remembered where it all went!!! I would have forgotten the minute it came out. Amazing attention to detail. Can’t wait to see it complete. Hopefully will be down soon to look at it when I drop my car off. 👊🏼
if not donor car he would be taking longer. bet he been watching where the same cables goes to. but anyway with or without this was a challenge. we all waiting for next video and final product for sure 👍
SUBSCRIBED! Keep the videos coming!
Great job man
Damn, i reckon it may take you a couple of days just to cable tie everything in places. Good luck, i think this is the hardest step.
good job dude don't give up and it will be candy 🤤🔥🔥💪💪
Respect.
Great job …
Superb Ed. How you know where all that wiring goes is beyond me. Oh is there any chance of a wooly hat yet??
Send us an email..will get one sorted
Looks good. It's bit like in here at North Ostrobothnia, in Finland. Though 15cm of snow at here now. On E53 the clutch lining was pain to put afterwards on manual swap under the carpet, maybe I stripped it still bit too few... lol just joking. This seems very time consuming. But rewarding, doing a rebuild like that 😍👌🏻
This is the most daunting part of the project and the rest of the interior will probably be pretty tough as well. I'm glad you have donor cars to harvest parts from and also to use as a reference. I have so much respect for the way you maintain your composure. If I ever did a project like this, the audio would have to be muted most of time! Are you going to put the original head unit and telephone system back in?
Its winter mate 😁
☃️
Buy brand new carpets it will look sick!
Hello, I have been watching you for a while now. What is best between the BMW e28 2001 and the x5 2006?
💞👍👍👍😘
Looks promising, any news about the engine?
That will be last thing when i see the big picture
Insane- tons of work - respect 🫡
