Funy I thought the inner ( alt belt) was gonna be the tricky one but it went smoothly. the outer belt was a bit of a challenge I believe primarily because the Power steering pump is tucked further up and a new belt out of a package never wants to cooperate lol but Im back in business thx.
In my opinion, if you worry about it, that means you are prepared, and it goes smoother. I am glad to hear you did it and saved some money with peace of mind, knowing you did it correctly. 👍
@@averagemaintenance3875 how many pulleys are there all together? Is there two idler pulleys and two pulleys on the tensioner pulley? I really couldn't find an answer to this anywhere. My friend has a vibration with noise and hope it's not the water pump but it's got enough miles on it that justify all the pulleys being replaced.
@quevicular To not misinform, you can check for yourself the diagram at 0:40 mark and see how many pulleys are there considering what tensioner is, colling compressor, alternator, and more. In my opinion, water pump and tensioners are most prone to go bad. But it's hard to tell with older cars. Good luck.
@4321superkris Just make sure that belt is on all pulleys before working with tensioner. Whatever way is easier for you to go around. It is always good to have someone to help you to keep a belt in place before working on tensioner. Good luck.
Thanks for the picture. Saved me time. Wife got stranded. Finished in an hour. Finding and driving for parts took longer
I am glad it helped. Very impressive that you finished it in one hour, especially when working for your wife.

Is the numbers in the belt diagrams the part numbers?
Yes. At .035 seconds mark you can see part number on belts label as well.

@quevicular LOL. I was for sure glad it was done. My wife was my camera operator, so I had to behave. Thank you for watching.

In what order replace belt back on bottom top or top bottom?

What are the boats belt numbers
At 3:44, video mark you have both belts numbers om diagram I have provided.
It has a chain and a belt ? Four cylinder 2.5 L 11 LE
If your question is for timing chain, you are correct. Timing chain and two drive belts as per my video.
Did you even need to remove the wheel?
Just to make it more accessible. It could be done differently but I found it easier with wheel off.
Muchas gracias
De nada. Gracias por mirar.
are these both the same exact belts?
No, they are different part numbers.
Thanks!
You welcome. Thank you for watching.
What are the two separate belts called
Drive belts or Serpentine belts.
What is the fan belt number
