According to the TVA the snap was supposed to happen, the blip also. Is it possible that Kang influenced Dr. Strange while he was calculating all possible outcomes in Infinity War? That's some hardcore technology if so, manipulation of a Sorcerer Supreme.

Personally, I think he attached a "TIME BOMB" to Scott and let him go back into the regular time stream. For comic nerds, think Batman VS Darkseid when he was thrown back to the beginning of time. Yet, in this case, they already have the device to disrupt the timestream. Chris Evan's already said he'd love to come back as Human Torch, as to return as Cap would deminish his scarifice in Endgrame. RDJ has stated pretty much the same about Ironman. Money Talks though lol

Two pieces of evidence support that he’s in a different timeline.
    1. $12 for a cup of coffee? Seems a little high, doesn’t it?

I think the cake that he ate and his response also plays into this might be an alternate reality. Yes, the cake could be just a nasty cake. But what if the flavor is not the same as it in the in the main MCU reality. Cause they focused on that and then just ended the scene.

@@kieran10202 Yes, I know. I watched them all back then, and several times since. That's aside from the point I'm making: Audiences are smart enough to understand these concepts. Alternate timelines and realities are nothing new when it comes to popular movies. If anything, modern audiences would understand it better than previous ones. Even if we're limiting it to just Marvel's productions, it's already been explained it in Loki and Multiverse of Madness. Between those and all the explanations you can find online, it won't be much of a stretch for audiences to understand it in another Marvel movie.

Hes another Thanos as in he’s the next bad that will take everything from the avengers/heroes to beat him. Like Thanos, he’ll do whatever it takes. Unlike Thanos, Kang is a human being, not a mad titan. In the comics what makes Kang so “undefeated” is that if you beat a Kang you might still have to deal with another Kang.

I honestly didn't think a different timeline but rather a time loop. Like the one that Kang threatened Scott with in the movie. But it is one to keep Scott and Janet specifically out of the way. My primary thought was from the ice cream tasting bad and that it was odd that they were celebrating Cassie's birthday when it wasn't and she was kind of off about it. My biggest issue with it is actually Cassie and that if we have any hope of the Young Avengers in this phase, her and Ironlad seem like the necessary hook that also ties them into Kang. Otherwise the other noteworthy story the original core of that group is associated with is the Children's Crusade and I feel like that story is more Agatha's.

This theory has already been debunked by the writer of the movie, not that it ever made sense to begin with. There is no reason Scott would need to be in an alternate reality, the threat was Kang and what Scott was questioning if Kang was still a threat.
And it was Cassie who opened the portal not Kang.
What Jeff so clearly meant when he said this is not to far off from what happen, is that Kang himself was sucked into the multiversal engine core and ended up in another dimension. Like none of this is complicated and it's no wonder why so many didn't enjoy the movie if they cant follow basic plot points like this movie is really not hard to follow.
