I was annoyed they beat him so easily at the end. Some were saying he's Thanos level. Thanos only lost one fight. It seems they are just throwing Kang's at you like cannon fodder. The fear isn't there with him.

I honestly didn't think a different timeline but rather a time loop. Like the one that Kang threatened Scott with in the movie. But it is one to keep Scott and Janet specifically out of the way. My primary thought was from the ice cream tasting bad and that it was odd that they were celebrating Cassie's birthday when it wasn't and she was kind of off about it. My biggest issue with it is actually Cassie and that if we have any hope of the Young Avengers in this phase, her and Ironlad seem like the necessary hook that also ties them into Kang. Otherwise the other noteworthy story the original core of that group is associated with is the Children's Crusade and I feel like that story is more Agatha's.
I think the ending is alluding to the original ending. The last bit was toooooo easy. She just redid what they've been working on for months in a second like it was nothing. The ending was also refilmed to avoid spoiler snipers.

What Jeff so clearly meant when he said this is not to far off from what happen, is that Kang himself was sucked into the multiversal engine core and ended up in another dimension. Like none of this is complicated and it's no wonder why so many didn't enjoy the movie if they cant follow basic plot points like this movie is really not hard to follow.
