I'm perplex about the sanctions applied to Russia, surely the maximum sanctions should have been set against Russia when they invaded Ukraine in the first place, it makes me think they are playing some sort of game and not really serious.

Biden was a coward. Afraid of provoking Putin and escalating the war. Putin will not use nuclear weapons. Many reasons for that. That said, Putin has unleashed genocide on the Ukrainians from the beginning. That will continue.
Putin is all in. The sanctions will not alter Putin’s decisions. They have and will make the economic consequences for Russia worse than it already is. They are paying a price for Putin’s war of choice. For more on that you should see what a respected economist (Joe Bloggs) has to say on his UA-cam channel about the impact of sanction on Russia. These reporters are ignorant or speaking to an agenda.

You really gotta ask yourself, why doesn’t the US and NATO give Ukraine some of their best weapons off the bat? That would drastically change the tide of the war, yet they’re not. They see Ukraine losing and they’ll give them a new weapon here and there but still not enough to change the tide so what’s going on? Now you’re saying that they could’ve applied these sanctions since the beginning of the war but they’re just doing it? This is a war game, or a money laundering operation. The only other reason I can think of is they want Russia to lose as many soldiers and equipment as possible, and let them take half of Ukraine and then they’ll start sending their best weapons because at that point Russia would’ve lost so many people and equipment that the offensive would be a lot easier for the Ukrainians. Although they’re already running short on men as we speak.

Now understand what economic damage it would cause if say China pulls all cash, gold & cashes out U.S. bonds.
No nation would use our banking system. Because of our mass sanctions America is no longer the worlds reserve currency. What youre talking about is theft & will have severe consequences.

    Why is it that:
    1. There are still many sanctions that haven’t been so far applied.
    2. No matter how many sanctions are put on Russia, that all means nothing when goods are reaching Russia via such 3rd party countries as Belarus (against which, no international sanctions exist) and Lithuania whose borders seem to be very porous.
Turkey is a major route for sanctions busting. Turkey, a member of NATO FCS!
Russia has bought many sea going tankers on the world market. All are false flagged! This is one way Russia evades embargoes on its energy supplies.
Why would the U.S. and some European countries provide the weapons necessary to help Ukraine win the war against Russia and in so doing, end this very lucrative trade. Why?
Truth is as always, there is much money to be made from conflict anywhere in the world.
Commerce controls politics and not the other way round.

The sanctions are like those used against Iran. Below is an example of 3 units of US sanctions. Note that these texts arte prepared by US employees who similarly prepared lists of sanctions against Iran. For example they sit in the office and work 8 hours on them and then forward the result to be approved and then announced by president. The employee who prepares them must have a wild imagination but this is his or her task:
Sanctions 1: Putin will be seen as a bad guy. So far he was indeed seen as a war criminal, but by being seeing as a bad guy too, means he is fundamentally evil. The negative effect of this on Putin would be that, even after being tried as a war criminal in the West, he always will be treated as a bad guy by the US government. (No joking, the sanctions are indeed like this).
Sanctions 2: Russian army will be seen as a harmful army. Note that in a previous sanctions prepared by another employee it has already been seen as a hostile army, but being seen as a harmful army, means the US personnel must take extra precautions which means only talk to Russians after having asked for such a thing as Russians are now seen as harmful.
Sanctions 3: the university diploma of Putin’s grandchildren who has been spotted in England, will be revoked to exert extra pressure on his grandfather as he causes so much more death by his actions.

Reaganomics is a problem, but the GOP keeps making more debt.. The only time the GOP cares is when they can use it like the Putin supporters did to block aid, or when they GOP used it as an excuse to harm the economic recovery under democratic presidents. The Debt ONLY goes down under democratic leaders.
Bushes III wars were extremely costly , and with the trillions we lost giving tax cuts to multinational corporations and billionaires under REAGANOMICS. Trickle down was an insult, not a policy. It decimated the middle class and working people.
Time we close tax lopholes , repeal the bush and trump tax cuts and raise the standard deductions so the working poor aren't subsidizing the foreign investors.

    • @DeadCat-42
      @DeadCat-42 3 місяці тому

@@jeansherwood2428Reaganomics was also called "vodoo economics" because it created large deficits while cutting taxes for the wealthy. We keep repeating it over and over and all that happens is the WORKING classes became poor and the wealthy became super wealthy. Trumps tax cut , made private jets tax deductible and school supplies bought by teachers not deductible. His giveaway to multinationals paid dividends to foreign investors without creating jobs. It's CLEAR that the entire GOP wants one thing, to put ALL the burdens on the WORKING people and none on accumulated wealth.
it's backwards, tax wealth, not work. Taxing work disincentivizes working for a living. Remove all bush and trump tax cheats and raise the standard deduction, but that's to fair and HONEST for the GOP. It's all about tax cuts for specific things so that only those who itemize can claim them. Not they guy working 80+ hours a week to live in poverty, he gets no tax breaks.
