Right? I feel like his family since TCM 1 pressured him into killing. He was born into a Cannibalism family and grew up only knowing other people as food. It wasn't his choice either way and that's why it saddens me so much.

I was a Production Assistant on this movie. I used to tell my friends it was like they edited the movie with a chainsaw because I knew how much they cut out. In the original theatrical cut, you don't even it's the Little Girl (Jennifer Banko) who pulls the lever that kills Bill.
Plus, it is not the fire that kills Tex. He shows up again all burnt for one last attack and ends up getting spiked by a booby trap. The original script was much better too. We even see Leatherface without his mask on.
The night we killed Sara was the best as you do see her get cut in half. They sprayed blood everywhere. I was covered in it driving home that morning. If I got pulled over by a cop, it would have been hard to explain. Jeff Burr did a great job with what he had to work with.
Yeah, Kane did some stunts. There is a great photo of us together on set in his autobiography.
I find that you were a production assistant on this specific movie extremely hard to believe.
@@sage-br4pq thought so too but from what i could find, dude isnt lying. i dont know if youtube still breaks links when you try and comment them but his name is steven lebowitz (he also says his name in one of his movie reviews on his channel), he did an interview on dreadcentral about working on chainsaw 3 and submitting elm street 6's script. it mentions, "Steven Lebowitz, who, as it turns out, was a production assistant for New Line Cinema at the time, having worked on Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III." the more you know, i guess.

because he has no other skins besides the masks you get for getting him, and possible licensing issues. possibly also how it might not be iconic enough or something.

I have the unrated on DVD and while you do get some better, gorier shots, they still aren't as strong as originally planned. The original deleted ending is also an extra feature, but while suitably violent, it's not remastered and consequently so dark you can barely see the effects. Pity.
@Brian Griffin The Really Bad Impersonator TXM 2 was released unrated because the MPAA had given it an X rating.
This was the first in the franchise to have a big production company behind it (New Line), so there was no way in hell it wouldn't have played ball with the MPAA to neuter it down to an R. It was the final film to (initially) receive an X rating before the MPAA replaced X with NC-17.
When i saw Leatherface's new chainsaw i said "damn that bitch clean" 😭

"Getting dusted" is absolutely a thing. Depends on where you are in the world. It can mean just getting washed in a street fight or getting shot out in the street.
When you compare Tex, Tinker, and Alfredo's personalities to hitchhiker, Drayton, Chop Top, its actualliy believable they're related even without the dark humor from the first two movies.
Heck the way Mama character threatened Michelle reminded me of how James had Drayton react to his comment about the face lamp using a scene from the first The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Movie. So at least they gave these characters some of the same personality as the original Sawyer brothers just without the dark commedy.

This movie was honestly one of my favorite in the series. I love it. Alfredo was hilarious and Benny was badass, and leatherface looks pretty awesome in this movie
I don't get to namedrop often (and it's a bit tacky to), but I chatted to Viggo Mortensen when I was 11 on the set of Return of the King. He's a very cool and easy-going guy!
