Another double episode? AWESOME!!! 👏💪💖👊
I totally wish i could afford to get the Bruce dice bag. I completely love Bruce. Bruce needs an Instagram to spread the word of Bruce. (Yes, I'm a tad obsessed lol)
Bruce approves.
Loving these coming out so close together in the last hours of the Kickstarter!
This whole project has continued to make Joe so endearing :-)
It just occurred to me... this fight was Kong vs. Ghidora!
That crit on the rock throw was so clutch
Thanks Kyle. I like the editing. Makes it smoother
Cacophonous Chimera sounds like an amazing Metal band name 🤘
~_~
Awesome job as always
Thank you it was fun to watch.
If Galatea survive, Jill will be capable to play as 3 players team in one o one game with DM
Double feature!!
Aura of damage bosses makes character death so much more likely. 0 hp on that aura and instant death save taken. And also anyone who helps gets damage too... If you are flying or any other thing, you lose even more DS's... Automatically losing death saves is not a great thing, if you want to keep party alive. But well, you can always choose Lich path...
So far in over 20 epic boss play tests we have always had a character go down but never had a character death…. So as long as that stays consistent, we can’t verify this is an actual issue.
@@DungeonDudes Extra death save is an extra death save. How party handles it is a whole another issue.
If that one party member cannot be rescued at this turn (ie. party paralyzed or under other effects), then it is just one dice toss away from death (don't roll 1, death with 1 roll happens at some point with certainty [1/20]). Or even without it if Boss or minions attacks the fallen one (one melee attack takes 2 death saves and then aura takes last one). Also range of this dmg aura is a real issue too, radius over 10 feet would be a killer. Chars who avoid the aura with 30 feet speed cannot carry damaged one away in 1 turn. Spells (more spell slots needed nearing the end of the combat) or more speed required.
I bet that some parties will have huge issues with damage aura's. But yea, it is likely that they don't know how to handle this kind of situation properly.
Also DM's might just forget to use this aura in battle or just not use it at all. It is an extra feature for experienced party after all.
I'd say use it with caution.
I just discovered this channel and just missed the kickstarter can't wait for the late plague to come so I can back this project up
I wish I could get a better look at that mini. Looks incredible!
Did the thumbnails get swapped?
Looks like it
I’m sure someone else has pointed it out but. The silence spell could make pockets of safety that it would have to charge into
Bewildering chitter be like: yesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyes...
so much fun to follow your creative work in action here - my favourite in this series was with the trolls, especially Hagatha
So cool. Looking always looking forward to your releases. I love the conditions! I love the thought behind them and the you have put them together, very inspiring. At one point you seem to afflict a sickened condition, but i can't find it in any of your statblocks. Can you elaborate on that one?
Sickened is simply disadvantage on constitution saving throws.
John Carpenter would be proud if he saw that Bojack. Can't wait for the book!
So, we have Sebastian Crowe's Guide to Drakkenheim and Pluto Jackson's Monster Slaying Guide. What will Veo's book be, I wonder?
A cookbook.
Treasure hunting guide maybe
I will get this book the moment it is available on D&D Beyond, but as that is the only feature I'm likely to use, I couldn't justify dropping $135 on it. 😞
Yeah, I'm in the same boat too.
Backed 🎉
Thanks!
Can you silence its aura?
Or command it to shut up?
If i was listening correctly, monty said "if you can hear it" so id assume silence effects it as normal

Who did the intro music for this series; it kicks contaminated ass.
Well of course Pluto crit with the rock. Rock is super-effective against Flying
Just wanted to put a plug in for any DMs running Icewind Dale.
Chardalyn is a feature of this adventure that causes mutations in a few few npc stat blocks but doesn't have any more mechanics really.
It merges perfectly with the crystals in Drakenheim to make that an interesting part of the game.
Delirium (nuclear) Winter in Drakkenheim
I backed the campaign, looks like good stuff
What a battle!!! Did not expect it to be that intense!
Just curious, Pluto was putting down big hits, so maybe the polymorph did not need to be Pluto?
Yeah I dunno Pluto...the fact that neither of them just went back to caspia to get their money doesn't bode well... unless they think you're dead and Saul won't pay out...
One of my favorite things was to listen to the extro and look for my name...any reason why we went away from first name alpha? Always made me feel good to see it.
I wish the intro was it's own video so I could watch it over & over again...
It is! ua-cam.com/video/2MGmZ4y3eEk/v-deo.htmlsi=Qvx21kfGyrTQmupn
It’s also available on Spotify and Apple Music. Song: The Hunted, Artist: Ghostfire Gaming
@@DungeonDudes OH, Stellar...
Since we unlocked the rattling version of DoD, can we get a rattling one shot adventure?
Gemini, "... she's not canon." Harsh 😄😄😄
I will miss the intro song. We need one for the Game.
Do the epic bosses get reactions? If so, when do they recharge?
I would assume on there turn when they move
Initiative count 20
Pluto touched my hoohaa
Ever thought of using D&D 4e mechanic of Revive Sickness where a player that dies in combat and is revived has a -4 to their hit number until a) they have completed 4 more encounters OR taken a Long Rest to get all their hip points back. This also works in Neverwinter but releases you from the -4 to hit when you create or go to a "Campfire" or survive 4 minutes of game time and this can be reduced with a Stronghold Boon.
happy it will be back to the proper campain soon. The monster hunt episodes were getting a bit repetative in a way.
