    Great video review. I also missed the 1st round and jumped on this when it went for preorder in round 2. Looking forward to the build.

      You can do it! Just don't be in a rush and check the instructions multiple times. My biggest piece of advice that I gave my kids who do gunpla now is just make sure the plastic you are snipping is not meant to be a tab or pin to connect to another part. Let us know how it goes.

    you can use a tamiya putty to the connector of the backpack and attach it to the back of the body since the part is very loose and same issues with the previous one.. the heavy backpack will make the back connector loose and create a stress tension. this is the problem of the kit.

    Interesting. I started building mine today and I have the opposite problem with the ends of scythe weapons. Instead of not closing fully, the end section is incredibly loose. Has no grip to the metal shaft and shakes around. I feel like I've missed a part but the instructions just say to clamp the two pieces around the end. It's probably not too hard to fix with a small bit of putty but it's soured my first impressions of the kit. Anyone else have this issue?

      That's the head v fin that you either put in the front of the back skirt or build it into the head like a gundam. It doesn't tell you because the manufacturer doesn't want to get sued by bandai.

    May i ask how many runners are there in the kit. I have one delivered soon and seem that many builders have issues with lack of runners, etc..

    • @NoriToy
      @NoriToy  2 роки тому

      Sadly I have thrown them all away but there is a part of the video where I pan over all of them except for the stand. When yours coming in you can pause it there and compare the ones you have to be sure. I think there is also a list of runner counts in the manual for comparison.

    Is there a trick to make the kit hold the weapons that I'm missing? I know I'm using the correct hands but they won't stay put and just fall off. I'm honestly have had a traumatic experience (yes traumatic) building this kit (no, it's not my first time). Instructions labeled wrong/confusing, parts breaking, parts not staying firm, it's just been terrible for me personally. Now I can't even attach the backpack because the two handles to the side of it broke as well (yes, I tried to be careful and there's no replacement). Now the weapons can't even stay firm which is the last thing I needed. At this point I'm just thinking of putting the whole thing in a box and just call it quits, I don't know what else to do to fix nor do I have the skills.

    • @NoriToy
      @NoriToy  Рік тому

      Sorry the kit is giving you problems. If any of the parts seem defective, it might be worth reaching out to the vendor for some replacement bits. The hands were pretty awful to put together, but once I got them to hold they seemed to hold the weapons properly. Out of my experience the hands were the worst part.

    • @LightyGab
      @LightyGab Рік тому

      @@NoriToy I appreciate it, and yeah just saw some people say the same about the hands. I ended up somehow managed to glue the backpack and also the hand to a scythe since I couldn't figure out how to make it stay put. I wanted to use the 2 scythes but since the kit is barely standing and even the light effect I couldn't use due to falling off, I didn't wanna risk it. I have it posing on my shelf now but I won't touch it ever, wouldn't dare to even change its pose. The second scythe I will use on another kit I build, maybe my Nu verka I have waiting but that's gonna be who knows when, I need a break.

    Why did you get the Moon light ver over the Classic one? And are there any differences in the navy blue and red colors? And most importantly are there included in the Moon light ver 2 different colors for the forearm? I m about to Order 1 of them and i want to he sure wich one i want tnks

    • @NoriToy
      @NoriToy  2 роки тому

      I do not have the original so I am having to go off of photos in the comparison I do in the video. As far as I can tell the main colors appear the same but without them next to each other there is no way to no for sure. There are multiple colors for most parts like the forearms. I show that in part of the review. I went with this one because I could not get the first release. Now having this one, and seeing the gold parts, I would chose this one again over the OG version. There only thing I prefer about the OG is the decals.

    • @NoriToy
      @NoriToy  2 роки тому

      It has a decent weight to it, but I cannot give an exact number since I no longer have the butter box or sprues. Some websites that carry it might list the weight in shipping, but it may be rounded up or down.

    As my first gunpla it was fun building but if anymore are like this I won’t be getting anymore to many loose parts the wrists suck the hands are stupidly hard to make and the stand can’t even support the body weight 💀

    • @NoriToy
      @NoriToy  Рік тому

      The hands are horrible. I agree there. Most gunpla are fragile and meant just for display. Not as study as an action figure. A bandai HG kit might suit you better if you want less parts that can come off. Back in the day we had to use a lot of glue so kits have come a long way.

      @@NoriToy that's the way to do it. The Real the issue with gundam pour markers is it's internal mixture being uneven and pretty much pooling the solvents which abs hates... Such a great kit. man i spent SO long trying to figure out the stand because i thought it connected in the crotch. the instructions tell you to plug the ACTUAL stand hole when building the skirt and never say anything about it! the lack of instruction there passed over to the decals, which i just finished. bandi instructions are just superior, but thats the tradeoff for ZG's impeccable colors and runner quality

    • @NoriToy
      @NoriToy  2 роки тому

      I actually did the same thing. I had it balanced on the crotch, and had to look through stock photos of the kit to find where it went. I should had mentioned that in the video.

    • @vOuijaa
      @vOuijaa 2 роки тому +2

      @@LightyGab the base attaches to the model via the rear of the skirt, instead of beneath the skirt in between the legs like a Bandai model. initially you’re instructed to plug the real hole with no mention of it being the hole for the base. the hole between the legs is similar in size but acts as clearance for movement in the hips, so the base won’t fully connect.

    Metal builds are not model kits...

    • @vOuijaa
      @vOuijaa 2 роки тому +5

      what makes you say that? only the frame and the handle of the scythe are metal. literally everything else is manually cut from a runner. it comes out of the box with great color separation but every piece has the potential to be sanded and repainted, scored, panel lined... how would that not be a model kit?

    • @andreassetiawan7773
      @andreassetiawan7773 2 роки тому +2

      To be fair, this is a model kit with a die-cast metal inner frame (even that alone is not 100% metal as some of it were plastic also).
      Even the metal build figures' outer armor got assembled like a model kit's one, except the construction is just a bit different.
