@@Thegooderstuffs Yeah I'm inlove, doing pretty well in HC so far! I did pure OK til' like lvl 48 and it was a breeze, but after the adjustments it's even more amazing, life is good!
@@AndrewHoeglund it is fun, just be careful with Loxmere in ultimate, she can ghost you real quick if you're not paying attention. Had a couple rips from her.
@@Thegooderstuffs Yeah I fudge'd up lmao. Got ripperino deluxe edition from that devo-shrine-summoner boss. He's however the only mob I ever felt struggle with, so it was weird going from OP to heaven xd
I made this build 1:1 with every skillpoint (L 84 now) and it is GREAT! It gives that old D2 lance whirlwind barb flame river feeling. It is also very flexible on itemchoice and very beginnerfriendly...and as always very well explained by a pro like Lifting Nerd!
I miss you, bro. I started playing GD again so I referred myself back to this video, not so I could actually play a viable build, but so I could hear your manliness.
Currently level 40 with this build and its awesome. Thanks for the detailed video and explanation. Would you happen to be making any ranged aoe builds in the future?
I went kinda overboard and managed to pump even more damage by dual wielding Mythical Cortosian Invoker by using Blademaster's Talisman relic... yes, both weapons add damage to EoR. Iskandra's set is great overall for elemental damage and with elemental augments from malmouth my dps sits around 300-400k, not to mention the damage done by procs and empyrion bois summons... it's so ridiculous I stopped playing it and went back to Elemental/Aether Ray Spellbinder, feels less cheesy
Thank you Lifting, you are doing a great quality content as always :) I was surprised to see a GD video here, it's totaly maching my break while waiting Legion and that's awesome ! Can someone help me with the Attributes ? I may have overlooked it but i haven't found any information about it. Should i priorise something ? Is there a rule of thumb ?
I'd like to note that if you don't side when Death's Vigil you can not farm for Barthollem's Gavel the mob only spawns as part of Death's Vigils quest chain. I was very sad to find this out, it's a great stepping stone to the Solael axe which unfortunately requires level 84!?!?!?!
It's really, REALLY fun and very fast to clear most contents. It seemingly only good for clear / AoE, but surprisingly, the single target are really good, too. I'm at level 41 and haven't died, but there's quite a few close call because I couldn't see the Aether AoE aura thing underneath me lol. Capping non-elemental res is hard
Thanks! Your grim dawn guides are really helping a lot! Little question, do you think the recent change: "removed % Physical dealt as Elemental, it has been moved to the Transmuter" will affect significantly the build?
nice build, i have was trying a shaman/oathkeeper, but felt to squisy. i will try to make this build. how do it die easy at leveling or late game ? Love all you guides, been following you PoE guides as well. Love and keep up the spirit.
Can we farm these gears's lower versions (like rare etc.) in the same areas, in elite or normal mod? Im 50 level right now and wanna make more proper build. Thanks for any answer :)
Had several builds which crapped out already at warden because i suck at this type of games. But this one is fun to play and actually works pretty good for an absolute ARPG beginner, thanks for that! I have a question though, how does one apply attributes, is phys dump still the way to go?
It's the Grim Internals mod. You can find it on the GD forums. Be warned: the mod needs to be updated for each version of GD. Since we just got a hotfix yesterday, it's possible it hasn't been updated yet. So if you try it and it says the game is wrong file size, just *wait* and be patient for the mod author to update it. Grim Internals has a bunch of other useful features as well, such as configurable auto-pickup, Nemesis warnings, auto-combine components, stacking potions beyond 100 per stack, and so on.
Great guide LNB. I hope everything is going ok. Not heard anything out of you since the start of Metamorph league. I know I am late to the party but I just picked up the expansion and started playing a little before Delirium comes. I been following this guide as a hardcore player and I am lvl 56 atm. The hardest content I have done is probably the bastion of chaos rift and had a couple of close calls in there but so far so good. My Iskandra's doesn't give the 25% conversion. It may have been changed or does an item affect it? I assume this doesn't matter much though. I will maybe post again when I die and what kills me.
I just get the forgotten gods and can't wait for Arcanist / Oathkeeper combo after i saw it in your video before 6 months. Can you tell me what Addons you are using .
Not bad though personally, I went with a Cold EoR Dervish build. Mythical Gravetouch shield coverts 100% of Fire damage to Cold to Eye of Reckoning as well as adding extra resist redux to Veil of Shadow and Chillheart sword converts 100% of Physical damage to Cold to Eye of Reckoning as well as global 45% of Lightning damage converted to Cold damage.
I am actually playing a shadow strike dervish build atm. myself, although it is scaling acid and cold primarily. It’s a solid combination, the nightblade and oathkeeper that is :)
Why spend all those points to get to reckless power instead of grabbing divine mandate in the other tree when its so close to being maxed out? using 25 extra points has got to be better spent somewhere else in the tree, improving bubble or some of the other buffs?
I am slightly confused. At the 4:47 mark the tooltip shows (and he mentions) Iskandras giving physical dmg to elemental conversion but I do not see that in game. Was it nerfed or removed I presume? Is it still worth maxing without the added 25% bonus conversion?
its worth maxing still, you need insane energy regen in order to sustain the eye of reckoning. its not as good obviously, but the part that is critical for the build (energy regen) is still there.
nice video man! i'm doing a similar build, but with oathkeeper + demo...i was thinking in picking up the solael's witchblade debuff but i wasn't sure if will combo with the guardians debuff...
Look up the Grim Dawn Resistance Reduction Cheat Sheet. It shows the three types of RR and how they stack (or don't) and how they combine together to arrive at total RR. You should be able to figure out if the two abilities will combo from there.
To get the Barthollems Gavel from Archon Barthollem you have to chose Order of Death's Vigil Faction but the inernet says me thats kymons are the better opinion for fire melee builds. pls help
Great video. Can you say something about what gear and stats to aim for while leveling? I just started playing a few days ago, so still not sure about lots of things. Tak
Do you mean attribute points or stats in general? "Meta" for attributes has been as much in to Physique as possible with a few in to Spirit or Cunning to equip specific jewelry or weapons/armor if necessary. For other stats, it's listed in the description, but... % Fire, % Elemental, Attack Speed, etc. And of course don't neglect defenses as you go. Cap resistances early and often.
Ok guys! Total noob here that has over 2 days played with this build. I just started it sometime this December, and I wanted to give my feedback so far. You can see my 12/26 Grim Calc here: www.grimtools.com/calc/0V0XOYrV I do not have all of the gear pieces yet, and am just now able to clear SoT at level 94 on Ultimate with the gear I have. I have died over 170 times learning this build and the game, and honestly, I probably started Ultimate a bit early (somewhere around level 65). My instinct was to rush to Ultimate for the higher level gear, and I did not want to burn through Skeleton Keys, as they are fairly hard to find and craft early on. Overall, I have enjoyed this build, but it has required a lot of luck to get it this far and a ton of kiting, and only really feels like it has come into itself after getting level 94 and equipping Mythical Infernal Brimstone (maybe better early on with the other two weapons mentioned). Solael's pants cannot go without mention because the additional 3% life leech is a huge boost. This is definitely not a face tank build right out of the box, and a big problem I faced early on in Ultimate, was that I was not using potions or really focusing much on my resistances (you can still see I am working on some of them). I just learned about the reputation augments for items, and intend to boost my resistances using those sometime after this post. At first I was very disappointed with the build and contemplated giving up several times over the course of my 170 deaths, however I finally realized that the most important thing that I could do was to keep grinding and farming as much content as I could. This meant farming early dungeons on repeat for both XP, components, and legendary items (finally paid off!). Now that I am able to clear SoT, I still have more than half of the content to finish (both expacs), and at 100 I will begin farming the Crucible, as well. What I have come to learn not just from this build, but from the game itself, is that it is all about grinding and pushing your character to the limits with potions and resistance components. Farming in Elite would have also afforded me better gear options, which would have likely made the ride to 94 that much easier. Now that the character feels more stable and I better understand boss mechanics and dodging, this will be my farm character for the next build I create, which I have a ton of legionaries to draw from after playing this guy. I will continue to max out this build as suggested by Lifting to see how far I can take it before moving on to my next build, and after pushing through to SoT Ultimate clears, I am happy that I started with this build, as it will take me to the next level of play. Don't forget that your mileage may vary depending on your skill level, so take this post with a grain of salt. Anyhow, thanks for teaching me so much about the game LiftingNerdBro Edit: I forgot to mention a couple of things. 1.) Make sure you choose the correct faction if you are going to use the gavel while you are farming Brimstone. 2.) Don't be afraid to use Nullification offensively! It can be super powerful debuffing your enemies. 3.) Be sure to rotate around your enemies, to avoid cones and single target projectiles. If i think of anymore edits, I will add them!
will you be making more builds in the future? I know this is 2019 but still jsut curious, im playing this build right now and its pretty damn good. If you are, could you make a necromancer tanky build?
Playing on Veteran currently, wondering if I should choose Death's Vigil or the Chosen... seems' Death's vigil would be better because of the fire/physical augments, but as I am new to the game thought I would ask a professional first!! THanks for any input.
Anyway, you have played POE a lot, so me too Does GD has something similar to Winter Orb? :) Maybe to Arc or Soulrend? I mean, some pretty relaxing and strong gameplay, that would allow you to clear areas fast (not sure if it's needed here) and good bossing potential.
It doesn't really have any autotargeting skills to be honest. You could use storm totem in the shaman mastery in either lightning or vitality. Allows you to drop some totems and keep moving (and generally stay out of range of bosses). Can be pretty flexible with what else you combine it with. Another strong option which no one has really found yet is Word of Pain (inquisitor). Its a curse style spell that can do a lot of DoT by itself if you gear it right (all stuff you can find/farm easy). You just pretty much run around making sure everything has the curse on it and it all melts pretty quickly. I can give you further details on that one if ya want.
Or you could just go a ravenous earth (necro skill) build. Powerful AoE that you just drop somewhere and let it melt things. Think you could find plenty of guides for this on utube or the GD forums.
I don't think there is anything similar to that Silver, but if you like summoners then check that out. They can be played very actively, but also rather relaxed when wanting to =)
Please note that this is a beginner's build and I have on purpose not added tons of crazy rare MI's affix rolls etc. The build is meant to be played by someone who doesn't have any pre-existing gear.

Very nice Guide.
Got me through the game for the first time :)
Wow what a guide bro, so well done!!!
Great guide, thank you.
Cyclone is my fav!
I love this build. Eye of Reckoning is my favourite skill in the game.
How Nice that this is posted day three of my first ever OKbuild, and 2h wep etc aswell!
I might actually take this hc-char to endgame, or instant death 🤓
The only way to play my guy
Glad to hear it man! Just wait until you get to 100 and start unlocking the "big-boi" items. It scales pretty well. Thanks for the feedback =)
@@LiftingNerdBro can i play it on hc? or rip count is high amount ?
Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you
As always ! Nice and Great Work Lifting !
one of these days im going to start this build, its pretty good
I miss you, bro. I started playing GD again so I referred myself back to this video, not so I could actually play a viable build, but so I could hear your manliness.
This guide is pure gold, Bro! Thank you especially for the Devotion-Rundown! Keep up the good work, man!
1:46 “mirror of erections” - ok, I’m dying 😂😂😂
Damn it Lifting! I Just started my Captain America Build.
P.S i used your Humble Bundle link
Very well done and detailed video. Thanks!
You are a beast, my guy. Legendary status
huge guide mate !! keep up the work :)
Currently level 40 with this build and its awesome. Thanks for the detailed video and explanation. Would you happen to be making any ranged aoe builds in the future?
Thank you for an easy to follow build.
Empyrion bois............😂😂😂 Calling them that from now on that shit is hilarious
Thanks for the heads up on the bundle. I need a break from PoE and this looks like a good break :)
worth it its very good
The Blazerush weapon is also very nice for that build and craftable as long as you are not lucky to get the Infernal Brimstone
Would you make any changes to the build with the new patch? Thx man
Great build! May I ask what specific bonus is in Solemn Watcher that you take this over Tortoise?
Thanks for this Builds, It helps a lot! :D
very nice work . thank you very much
Thanks alot, great vid!
Really nice build ! Thanks for sharing :)
Just have one question : How do you get those bad ass meteor to proc ?
I was thinking the same!
Wow, that are many active skills!
@liftingnerdbro thanks for the guide, helped a lot and made me enjoy the game even more. I wish you had more builds to test out.
Thanks! Your grim dawn guides are really helping a lot! Little question, do you think the recent change: "removed % Physical dealt as Elemental, it has been moved to the Transmuter" will affect significantly the build?
Thanks lnb, Super guide. It helped me out a lot. Much appreciated man. Keep it up please! Subbed!
Quality video and very helpful
"Next we grab the eel" Is that for enhancing Mirror of Erections?
nice build, i have was trying a shaman/oathkeeper, but felt to squisy.
i will try to make this build. how do it die easy at leveling or late game ?
Love all you guides, been following you PoE guides as well.
Love and keep up the spirit.
Can we farm these gears's lower versions (like rare etc.) in the same areas, in elite or normal mod? Im 50 level right now and wanna make more proper build. Thanks for any answer :)
Had several builds which crapped out already at warden because i suck at this type of games. But this one is fun to play and actually works pretty good for an absolute ARPG beginner, thanks for that!
I have a question though, how does one apply attributes, is phys dump still the way to go?
Yeah, he says it in the video. Dump all attributes into physique.
good video dude. thanx
Awesome build man trying it out! hey i was wondering how did you get those nice bars over the enemies?
Awesome video🌺.
And can you review new DLC of titan quest which name is ATLANTIS.
Thx alot.
I just get the forgotten gods and can't wait for Arcanist / Oathkeeper combo after i saw it in your video before 6 months. Can you tell me what Addons you are using .
Awesome job ty for everything, you are the best ;)
Looks like a fun build.
Gonna try it.
@@chasewilson3693 Thanks for the reply. I went ahead and maxed it, cheers.
nice video man! i'm doing a similar build, but with oathkeeper + demo...i was thinking in picking up the solael's witchblade debuff but i wasn't sure if will combo with the guardians debuff...
Look up the Grim Dawn Resistance Reduction Cheat Sheet. It shows the three types of RR and how they stack (or don't) and how they combine together to arrive at total RR. You should be able to figure out if the two abilities will combo from there.
Also, yeah, they do stack. :)
To get the Barthollems Gavel from Archon Barthollem you have to chose Order of Death's Vigil Faction but the inernet says me thats kymons are the better opinion for fire melee builds. pls help
Great Video! Working on a Captain America Warlord build right now. Oathkeeper is a breath of fresh air in ARPG's.
Uhh, oathkeeper is just barb/pally....
You can see my 12/26 Grim Calc here: www.grimtools.com/calc/0V0XOYrV
I do not have all of the gear pieces yet, and am just now able to clear SoT at level 94 on Ultimate with the gear I have.
Anyhow, thanks for teaching me so much about the game LiftingNerdBro
Edit: I forgot to mention a couple of things.
Are there any changes to this with the latest patch
Glad to see GD content :)
Thank you so much!
will you be making more builds in the future? I know this is 2019 but still jsut curious, im playing this build right now and its pretty damn good. If you are, could you make a necromancer tanky build?
Playing on Veteran currently, wondering if I should choose Death's Vigil or the Chosen... seems' Death's vigil would be better because of the fire/physical augments, but as I am new to the game thought I would ask a professional first!! THanks for any input.
Fantastic build. would you happen to have a written guide as well?
I do not, sorry mate, but if this is something people would like I will consider having one for future guides. =)
@@LiftingNerdBro I would very much like it. :) Again. Fantastic guide. Thanks again!
Please make more builds like that!
Anyway, you have played POE a lot, so me too
Does GD has something similar to Winter Orb?
They can be played very actively, but also rather relaxed when wanting to =)
Nice guide. I would have completed behemoth constellation, it kinda pays for itself
How do you have the over head enemy health bars? Please let me know, I would very much enjoy playing with those.
