Thanks for filming a vlog for me and showcasing my new Fjallraven diapers 😂 Great Video, Espen. I think my memory fooled me a bit. Even though I couldn’t join for the last day, we had a great time :)
I can totally relate to you saying "Video games and films were my safe space". Wildlife photography has opened a new world for me. Including socially. Wonderful video as always. Take care. 😎👍
I don't think you can visit Dovre to many times, it will always be a new experience! Can't wait to go there next winter! hoping for a lot of snow! Great video :)
I always look forward to you guys going on this trip every year, such a fantastic experience for you all. And as to why you do it, my answer would be - because we want to! Well done Espen, on an amazing video!
Intressant video 👍 Jag har i många år funderat på att åka till Dovrefjell på vintern, denna video gav mig en del nyttig information Trots att jag har varit där många gånger under sommar och höst så var det svårt att känna igen sig när allt var täckt av snö 😀
Easy to see why you go back, would make a great annual event. Those little cartoon like images at the end were really good, a very nice touch that helps to show why you go.
When you get to photograph the Musk Ox in front of Snøhetta you know you're on a great adventure. Love the video, Espen. Great work. Time spent outdoor doing what you love, that's what its all about. Maybe we meet next time up there :)
One of your best videos. Seeing the "gang" together in a kind of a human / nature interaction. It is dificult to ask for more. Well done. Ps: After all there are some sense of humor as well.. What baout that!
Great video in and about Dovre, i am in the fortunate position where my girlfriend lives in Norway (I am from the UK), so maybe i should take a visit down at some point to see the Muscox. What a site they must be. I have visited Norway a few times now and i have to agree with you, the experiences are what makes the cherry on the top for me, in my circumstances, as well as the people you are surrounded by. I have seen a plethora of species, including crested tits and White tailed sea eagles, that i never thought id get this close to. Truly magical place. Once again great video, enjoyed your footage and pictures. Thanks for sharing!
Another stunning record of your latest trip. Interested to see that you were using the new zoom lens sometimes…how does it compare with the other one? It’s a lots cheaper relatively speaking so more in my price range if I save up for a couple of years !!!!
hi Espen beautiful pictures. I think they are better than previous years. What is the reason that you covered the brand of the camera with a red sticker? anyway, these are beautiful images.
Hi Espen - can you give us more information about the rounded wooden lens foot attachment ? Is it a custom-build or is it available on the market? - thanks, David
Takk for det, ja jeg slet litt med lyden. Har oppgradert mikrofon slik det blir lettere å bruke den når jeg bare bruker Action 4, så neste gang skal det bli bedre 🙂
Ah, to be relatively young, and full of energy, and heedless of discomfort and even risk. I remember it well. That said, and for the record, I’m 65 and definitely still feeling feelings.
@@EspenHelland I have a grand-nephew who is six years old. Just yesterday I apologized after forgetting to retrieve his smoothie from my car. He looked at me and said, “Old people forget things.” So no worries, I have a thick skin. 😊
Norway and Scotland are the most beautiful countries in the world. These winter scenes are fantastic.
Such beautiful images Espen and lovely video. Really enjoyed the personal aspect to the video.
Thanks a lot Ian 🙂

No problem, I’ll send an invoice ;) thanks Gunnar, was a great trip!
Stunning photos. Fully understand why keep going back, especially with that scenery as well
Thank you Ian 🙂
A great photo trip. Excellent material, beautiful shots. Spring greetings from Poland.

One of your best videos yet Espen 👏👏 Loved the "behind the scenes" also. Great work, and a wonderful time I imagine😃

Fantastic! I always enjoy your videos from Dovre, so hope you keep going back. Some wonderful encounters and images from this year’s trip.
Thanks a lot Chris!

Yeah can’t complain about that 😃 thanks a lot! For sure, I tend to go around the same time every year :)
Wonderful video of a beautiful place and majestic creatures! Thanks, Espen.
Thank you Peter 🙂

Thank you 🙂
looks like an awesome place. great shots, .love them
Thank you 🙂
I like that "60 or 70 thereabout". Will be 67 this summer, and planning for wintercamp, not at Dovrefjell, but in local forest. :-)
Nice one! I just did my first winter camp last month in Scotland, definitely not as cold as Dovre, but a still 🙂 good luck!

The OM-1 Mark2 is very conspicuously camouflaged🙈😂
😂 had to do that before launch
@@EspenHelland yes….i know😉👍🏻
Another wonderful video 😎

Thanks David 🙂 yeah it’s got an incredible reach and it’s a good alternative to the 150-400mm. I go into it a bit more in the video I did on it.
I don't know if you are friends with Trod; I was watching his channel and was surprised to see you. I have been following both of you for some time
Third winter we’ve been at Dovre together 🙂
hi Espen
beautiful pictures. I think they are better than previous years. What is the reason that you covered the brand of the camera with a red sticker? anyway, these are beautiful images.
Because it was the OM-1 mkii which hadn't been announced I believe.
Thank you very much 🙂 I had to do that as it was before the official launch of the camera
Awesome Espen! 👌
Thank you 🙂
I know you can't answer this here @espen but is the new 600mm a worthy 2nd choice to the mighty 150-400?
Yeah, I would say if you can’t or don’t want to fork out the money for the 150-400mm the. The 150-600mm is a clear second option.
Hi Espen - can you give us more information about the rounded wooden lens foot attachment ? Is it a custom-build or is it available on the market? - thanks, David
Custom built gift. I’ll try to dig out the email for you, he does make them on demand
For the wooden foot email Edward on: rustyarrow@gmail.com
Thank you very much for your reply and the information, Espen, this is great! - David @@EspenHelland

😅 good! Just joking around, hopefully no hurt feeling 😉

Though I love these videos, I have no idea why you wouldn't have a 4wd truck in an environment like that.
Thank you John 🙂 usually we’re ok with just winter tyres on the road, but it was a rental and probably not the best tyres on.
Strange how you would go so far just to photo some animals that are nowhere near interesting as humans.
Strange comment
