His reaction to Slow Jamz had me in tears. Priceless!
What I respect most is your Dad isn't afraid to ask about the meaning of slang or bars. Shows his dedication to understand your era and understand your music etc.
it's really impressive how quickly your dad just grasps everything about these albums. it speaks towards how good the music itself is, but considering i heard all of this as a kid it's impressive how quickly a man grasps what it took a kid years to really understand. kanye said it best when he said sophisticated ignorance, just describes the heart of this album perfectly.
write my curses in cursive
Yeah I hear you, but just wanted to know if u knew that sophisticated ignorance line is from watch the throne, not college dropout
@@kod999 it’s almost as if it was the same person who said that line and made this album…
@@kod999 Yeah I 'hear ' you but no shit, he's just using a kanye line from a different album. That's the same person that made the college dropout by the way, just wanted to know if u knew that.
@@nish8399 breathe, relax, and stop crying, I literally said it to see if he thought the line was from the same album or not and you’re here fighting for him😭

My father passed 10 years ago. He didn’t listen to rap until I was a teenager. He was a jazz guy, but he LOVED this album. He looked at me crazy when I tried to tell him Jay-z was a better rapper than Kanye. He just couldn’t believe how anyone could think that any rapper was better than Kanye 😂. This video brings great memories to my mind. Keep enjoying this quality time with Pops!!
Ima carry on your fathers will KANYE BETTER
Kanye is better for sure he gave JAY-Z his biggest hit

@@nonchalantdre that will be the most fun to see
@@nonchalantdre he'll appreciate how unique it is but will probably not like it lmao
That soulfulness and orchestra pop of Late Registration is the one I really want to Pops react to as well as Watch The Throne and Kanye Produced albums like Common’s Be and Hov’s Blueprint.
@@nonchalantdre it was a bad album but it still had couple good songs like bound 2 and black skinhead but that’s it😂
I’ve been seeing a bunch of the younger generations saying this album is overrated in Kanye’s discography but there’s just too many classics to be overrated. I can’t help but have a smile on my face when some of these songs come on
to me this album is 100% classic, I can't name a single "ok" song, they're all amazing
college dropout is the best album
i wasnt alive when this came out but it’s probably my favorite album ever. perfection
I ain’t religious at all but Jesus walks is a masterpiece. It has a theme, he sticks to it and says interesting thought out opinions the whole time that clearly express how he feels, and the instrumental matches the theme perfectly. That’s something that this album does amazingly
that's how i used to feel, but i get what he's talking about now
Same with never let me down. That’s probably my favorite song off the album. You don’t have to be spiritual or religious but that spoken word from j-ivy goes hard
@@joshsmith8715 never let me down is probably the most meaningful song on the entire album tbh. All of them are but this one breaks them all. It’s perfectly coordinated. Jay Z not letting his peers and the industry down, Kanye not letting his family down, and Ivy not letting god down
Waiting for the “it’s not too late to save yourself from eternal punishment” replies

I also knew he would love slow jamz lol It's a given which ones he'll love and it's super entertaining to see him bug out to those. Always a pleasure watching you and your dad go through these journeys. I wish the best for you guys and the channel.✌️

Finally, your father gets to experience the Kanye West rabbit hole haha. He’s going to love all 3 college trilogy imo. Late Registration and Graduation

This is an incredible album, and it was so ahead of it's time. Amazing reaction, can't wait to see the rest of kanye's discography!
Watching your dad vibe to Slow Jamz made me cry man. Reminiscing on all the music he connected with in his life, in a newer song that meant so much to me(us youngins) is just full circle man.
