Mike Schultz is a Paralympic gold and silver medalist in snowboarding, getting ready to defend his gold in Beijing 2022, and a 10-time X Games gold medalist in three different sports. In 2008, Mike suffered a life-changing injury during a snowmobile competition resulting in the amputation of his left leg above the knee. Seven months later, Mike was competing again on a prosthetic leg and foot (“Moto Knee” and “Versa Foot”) that he engineered realizing regular prosthetics wouldn’t handle the rigors of his sports. Mike founded his company, BioDapt in 2010 helping wounded soldiers, athletes, and amputees getting back into the sports they love. In 2018, Mike was named to the U.S. Paralympic snowboard team, won a gold and silver, provided 15 athletes from six different countries with his prosthetic equipment, was the flag bearer for the opening ceremonies and won the ESPY that year for Best Male Athlete with a Disability.
