❯❯ As the subject states, no communication? This can start with just a no scan communication with any part of the vehicle. There can also be no communication to a certain module in the CAN network.
❯❯ Tony Salas, instructor, will first train on the CAN network from Diagnostic Link Connector (DLC) to the various modules from Body Control to Powertrain Control and even sensors such as the NOX sensors that provide information over the CAN Network.
❯❯ Salas will discuss and demo use of a multimeter and a labscope on the diagnosis of no communication issues. He will review the networks and how they vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. LIN or local networks will be shown on factory wiring diagrams. He will also use U Code or networks codes to aid the technician on various communication issues.
❯❯ He will be using older to newer trucks as a demonstration on which systems are able to diagnose for themselves and provide the U codes. Service information and scan tool data plus bi directional information will be shown.
