I'm replacing my ABS control module 2013 fpiu, , I have the latest version of Forscan downloaded and have run backups on all my AB formats. Can I use this new feature to program the new module, or do I have to pull the data from the old module and program the new module with it?
@JuniorColanzi According to my local Ford mechanic, ABS modules new or used must be programmed. Data has to be extracted from the old module to a new one or it will not work. I am tho hoping that this new feature on Forscan has the factory program for the VIN of my vehicle.
@@mattreiter6556 yeah, thinking better it really is gonna depends on the firmware the modules are running... but lets hope they are the same lmao edit: I read again your comment regarding a feature in forscan, and the answer is: yes, you can backup your AsBuilt and flash it in another hardware! I've done that in a couple APIMs and IPCs I've worked with.

Unfortunately forscan can't program keys on the fusion due to ford security systems. For the newer fusion the key code to program is stored into the ford cloud server and forscan don't have access to that could to retrieve the key code to program
I've been looking for an answer for a while but cant find one. What does a PCM reflash do or As-Built rather. My downshifts are harsh and I am wondering if this could help. Thank you
Since I reset the map, it misfires on gasoline, and since I continue to use LPG, it misfires at first start. While trying to repair the map injector, it starts to work irregularly, but as it warms up, that is, as the ecu improves, it starts to work normally. In other words, I had to travel 3000 km for the map to be recorded in the brain so that the data received by the sensor could be processed into the map and created, in other words, to improve the map.How can I solve this without traveling any distance, because LPG services are on the road all the time, gasoline is expensive and consumes a lot.

if the module you bought is the same part number you probably won't even need to program it.

Shouldn't your car already have sync 3? Or do you have 4 inch system? It shouldn't as long as it is factory wiring and factory parts you use
My car has the 4 inch was gonna get plug and play and yes will be the sync 3 just don't wanna void the warranty

How come when I plug in the obd my 2020 superduty doesn't have that much option? And most of them are error? Any input?

when you overwrite IPMA module is necessary cam calibration ! :)
I've changed the asbuilt data several times on my ipma and it never lost calibration
