Hello, game developer here - thanks for playing Node Farm on your channel! It's great to see that you had fun while playing! Especially when my game shows on my subbed channels list :D Answering questions from the video + some more info about the planned full release: - There is a node for controlling flow based on special offer (it is available to unlock when player buy a new island). It is a little cruel now that there is no control over the set of nodes to unlock, but it will be changed with the meta-progression (see below). - Yeah, salt cannot be stored for now. Full game release content will focus on much more advanced crafting and material harvesting (like mining, woodcrafting, fishing, livestock etc). So in the demo crafting is rather flat, but it will grow deeper - depending on how far you progress in your game - with meta-progression. - meta-progression will be based on unlocking new nodes and meta-percs on the talent tree, depending on the player's playstyle. So if player would like to choose a "clicker" style he would go to such a branch on the talent tree vs buff-based or automation-based one (just for an example based on the demo version - there will be more branches). Meta-points will be gained after defeating a boss. Along with metaprogressing - player will be able to unlock more valuable recipes to gain more metapoints after finishing a boss with such recipe. - online-coop - you will be able to make a farm with your friends - something like you would see when using interactive online boards :) Team work! Thanks again for playing and feedback! Great video! I had fun watching it :) PS: and yeah - I will be replacing music with a few more - less invasive - soundtracks :) My wife didn't like it too :D
They also didn't need to specify people; they could have just said 'hey it was cool to see a content creator pick up on this game quickly, because it seems not everyone did and it gave me a worse impression of the game.'
Woohoo! Node Farm :D glad you liked it! I agree with your points on the end, for metaprogression to work well I feel like you'd have to change the game a lot. More content would be great, I'm excited for where the dev goes from here :)
I could be wrong, but at the 42 min mark based off sell value it didn't look like it was ever selling the dishes? It just looked like it was selling at the same price as corn normally did?

The cats are connected to eachother, adorable
Like that reto get the logic and things about the game so much quicker, watching olexa and wander spend hour to get into the game is a bit rough 😅
I love olexa so much, but when i saw this game on his channel i couldn't even get past the 5 mins mark, fully agreeing with you here
Appreciate the compliment, but it is important to remember you can say something nice about someone without putting down their peers!
@@Retromation both of us love everyone who puts out indie games content, but we are just criticizing this specific game review
@@RetromationYeh but if they had just said "hey reto, you picked this game up really fast!" This is by design comparing it to the slower people xD
They also didn't need to specify people; they could have just said 'hey it was cool to see a content creator pick up on this game quickly, because it seems not everyone did and it gave me a worse impression of the game.'
Love this game! Glad to see you're playing it.

The opening to this is prime Canadian accent 😂
Looks like stacklands, but a little more complex. Gonna pick this up

It was using that path to sell corn, since he overloaded on corn with the chef. (Broke water connection)
Electronics Engineering : The Farming game
It reminds me of factorio, the cute version of the automation king 😂
Try the demo of the new game "sephiria" the developer of dungreed made it
😵💫
