@scottgregoire I don't agree. It is her job to think about what to ask him next to keep the conversation going on interesting. So it is only logical that she cannot listen as intense as we can. Her job is not as easy as you might assume. And to agree to the content someone delivers is a gesture of appreciation, not doing that is to be considered as being impolite by many people.
“….an F1 engine ….out of Lauda’s F1 car” …..and that’s when I fell in love 😂😂 Such a stunning feat of engineering to make it all work and then draped with an absolute drop dead gorgeous exterior and interior….😍😍😍
How did I miss this episode?!.... literally one of the most desirable and beautiful special Porsches I've ever heard of or seen. Amazing work by Lanzante!
Hi Jodie I’m constantly amazed how all these car guys you get to interview, sit beside etc are all so humble and seem so genuinely nice grounded gentlemen , Not seen many of your videos for the last month or so but will get round to catching up soon , have to say you’re looking really well Regards Davy 🏴🇹🇭
This is amazing. I remember hearing rumors back in the 90s about Ron Dennis daily-driving some sort of top secret, F1-engined 911. Something to the effect of "I saw him in Woking driving a white 911, with Ruf wheels, that sounded like it had something crazy under the hood". It sounded a bit far fetched, yet here we are!
Thats not just a 911 but a 930 or poss m491. Well done that color is amazing. I would still be worried about a rebuild with such and exotic F1 engine. All in all this is amazing. One has to admit that No other car has more companys making different iterations of the Porsche 911 930 from this to Ruf, Singer, Tuthill and about 50 others. A true testiment that the 911 is hands down the best Sports car ever produced.
I truly enjoy the connection Jody makes on a cultural, configuration and technological level. With every contact. Without overworking the nerd quotient. Really well done. My only question is service, parts etc.
I worked in the Paddock back in 1984 when Paul Lanzante was running a car in the "Thunder Sports" Series. We were running a Lola T610....And we chatted many times..... Many years later while working for McLaren I saw those engines stored in a grotty little storage unit in the backstreets of Woking.... It made me sad to see them just sitting there.....(in racing cases covered in dust).... It seemed a terrible waste..... It is so good to see that Dean has brought them back to life.... And using them as the Racing Gods Intended..... Great video once again Miss Jodie..... Bless ya....... :-))) xxxxxx
What a great video ! What a car ! Is it me or I feel a certain emotion between you ? ;-) Very smart man, eloquent, humble, very interesting. My only regret is not to have heard this historical engine revving at 9k rpm ! I would have loved seeing you at the wheel of this nice machine
There's a gray 964 generation 911 with a lemans porsche 962 engine built by andial...they should make at least 5 more of those. I've always wanted to see a porsche turbo cayenne v-8 stuffed in a 1980's porsche 928.

Wow! I only realised when she mentions about the workshop that I live literally a 10 minute drive from this place and drive past it all the time! It literally is right on the border of Hampshire and West Sussex. I live on the WS side. Such a cool building too.
Nice drive along the A272 and through Midhurst. I was almost distracted from looking at the lovely Jodie trying to recognise houses and stuff out the window!
Fancy seeing 10R, Nick Mason's F1 appear in the background at the end. I know that car well, I took a fantastic photo of her at Goodwood, my friend was running the event and managed to get me on track on the starting line on my own. Such a crazy experience. I love that car. I have the photo above me in my office.
Thanks again for sharing. I really appreciated Dean's insight on having to tune the engine to remain usable on the road as well fitting other ancillaries to make the car more comfortable.
very nice, Jodie. informative conversation, covered lotsa ground. obvious choice for time travelers: DFVs in Lotus Esprits. make enough for a spec series. 50-100?

Never knew they did porches though. But their Clients have the type of money that no project is out of reach 😂😂🔥🔥

Great Kidd in a Sweet Shop do you think Jodie he let you drive the Forumla1 powered Porsche at Goodwood Festival Of Speed? If he does I hope you would do it. 🙂
Watching the F1 Turbo era was exciting. The short lived engines, with spectacular explosions, redefined the term “reliable”. But I guess when you make 1,500 HP from 91 cid, by throwing in a ton of boost, with a dash of nitro and a on/off throttle switch, all kinda things are gonna happen.
This F1-powered 911 is crazy! What other F1-engined road cars should I find?? 👇
Remember the Renault Espace in the 90s?
F50, CARRERA GT, 300SLR, Bmw 02 Series, 33 Stradale, OX99-11
Ford supervan. Been a few iterations over the decades.

The power up to 1500 revs was amazing.
😅. Obviously, a bag shat will break down over 36mph
They cut out all the useful revs from it too, so I wonder how the power curve looks like.
