  • This is such an amazing triangle unit - it is versatile and you will start seeing this unit in lots of quilts. Next to Option 11, this is one of my favorite Options.
Notice in this exploding star pattern that you get a half square triangle with 4 triangles - be sure and show us your Square in a Square quilts.

I’m discovering your technique after being a quilter for 35 years. Words can’t describe how excited I am to learn more and use your methods! I feel like I just won the lottery!

Have been watching these videos for several years now, and it just seems so brilliant, However, I have been hesitant to order as I often think I will not be able to figure out how to proceed with a specific quilt pattern. I'm sure that joining the "club" would be a great help but, being on a fixed income, that isn't possible for me. My son wants to give me the ruler and vol. 1 for Mother's Day, which is so sweet, but I want to be sure I can utilize it well.....Still deliberating.

Hello Alanda, I think you will love it and will be so glad you have the system. Remember, the ruler and the Reference book Vol 1 have many great patterns to get you going. Then, if you have a special pattern you want to make, we can help in the process. You can email or text questions or pics and we can help you along the way if you need it. You will also get access to our free webinars where you can keep learning. I don't think you will regret it. Let us know if we can help. jodi@squareinasquare.com

My “problem” is that I want more than the quarter. Maybe 3/8. I want to see my points from across the street. I need to get over it I know. When sewing you must sew a thread away to keep your point.

Seam allowance is a big deal for most everyone. Sewing the "scant 1/4"" as you mention is the way to keep your point. If you need help or have questions, email jodi@squareinasquare.com

suzanne sterling if it’s the one I’m thinking about it is all made w squares.
The square in a square does triangles.
But my 4 patch and 9 patch ruler could.
