I love the fact, they post these on UA-cam when I miss them live I come here But I still would love a streaming service with a monthly fee for all NASCAR Sanctioned events But this is cool too!
This was hands down the most entertaining races of the 2019 season. To see the incredible drive that Chase had to come from the back of the pack to win following his mistake was incredible.
Thank you NASCAR. Fantastic racing, fantastic racecars, super fantastic racetrack. I really think I should come over to you, rent a Motorhome. I love you Charlotte. Greatings from Switzerland.
I watched that race in 2019 and I love how Chase wrecked and still came back and won that race to advance to the round of 12 that’s just proof to never ever give up I know he finished 10th in the points in 2019 but still he never ever gave up his parents didn’t raise no quitter
Me when Chase hit the wall: Wow. There's barely any damage. He can still come back and win this thing. Commentators: The front of that car is DESTROYED. 🙄
I like what they did with the Roval idea. Just wish they'd get rid of the stupid stage thing and let them race! Bet that would be a cool race if it was a full race
If you're talking the front stretch chicane, it's to reduce speeds into T1. There's almost no runoff out of the turn should someone lose brakes and go nose first into the tire barrier. Coming out of the oval straight up into the start finish without it, the start finish would also fall well within the braking zone for T1, so a neck and neck finish would basically be playing chicken into the barrier.
Still hate stage racing, Hate the "Playoffs." Hate what it does to the race commentary. This is a great race on mute, this is a great track configuration. It baffles me how close Nascar is to being as good as it ever was, but the big things they changed to make it more appealing just did the opposite.
I'm gonna say it but that penalty for missing the back stretch chicane is so stupid. I would understand the stop penalty if they gained an advantage, but most of the incidents the drivers gained no advantage. Just seems useless to penalise drivers who had no choice, or lost positions by doing so.
Not a fan but gotta give Harvick credit when Bowman put that move on him with 5 to go. He gave him a ton of room when 88 cut across his nose completing the pass. Could have punted him and it would have been Bowman's fault.
Best drivers in the world my ass! And in any other motorsport if you crash hard into a barrier making a mistake you don’t get an opportunity to go on and win! But with so many unnecessary cautions, lost racing laps & restarts it’s just a lottery🙄not so much a race! And the commentary can make your ears bleed! NASCAR needs a huge shake up to make it exciting & the ‘sport’ it once was IMO. From the 🇬🇧 🏴🇬🇧🏴
AngryBirds When comparing these drivers to the average driver in the world, they are some of the best drivers. They should bring in localised yellows to avoid bringing out so many cautions. But at the same time, all these cautions bunch up the pack so that drivers don’t run away which also gives us some great racing and it also really puts the strategists up against each other to see which team can pick the best strategy with all the chaos going on. Also I think it is good that these cars can survive going into a barrier as it means there are more cars on the grid and more action. I think the commentary is fine too, all in all, I think nascar is great and something I want to keep watching since watching my first race of when they were at New Hampshire
Joseph Stalin You’re entitled to your opinion. I personal think it’s false & NASCAR deliberately throw these extra Mickey Mouse yellows to liven up a declining under pressure sport.
That rule for the chicane is BS. You shouldn't have to stop, You should only have to give back the time gained or give back positions if you have gained from missing it... Biggest joke Ive heard in racing
Great ideas, however, how do you think that would be regulated, especially if tempers flare because of reasons for the miss? They just went with the consistant rule, that cant be avoided weither the miss was because of someone else or not.
@@Vileas_ I just think the rule is a bit beyond reason, Like if your avoiding a crash and HAVE TO avoid it and straight line straight through it then sure I can understand the stop and start again. But if you make the initial approach but then continue to out brake yourself and go through, A redress back to position and a little off the throttle roll would be appropriate, it just seems 1 mistake has the ability to ruin someone's race. I personally don't think the guys avoiding the first crash deserved to be penalised, NASCAR is trying to avoid wasting money but when someone avoids a crash they gotta slow down, give positions away and lose possible sponsors just for avoiding a crash.
@@Vileas_ I think it could be regulated reasonably easily, It only really makes sense for people to not have to lose positions too much and well really keep the racing exciting, We don't want over regulations like F1. I guess really, The stop and go is fine but as for the reasoning for the stop and go, Right now it seems like it's a little over the top like I just explained. If avoiding a crash, slow down and continue on to give back time gained but if you just blow straight through it then yes, I believe a heftier penalty should be applied
Lol, I mean it's what 100 something laps, can't be perfect every lap but he shouldn't have had to completely stop... Especially if he didn't gain anything from it... He had someone right behind him and jumping the curb they were even closer than before so why make it worse by having him stop.. He should've gotten a 3 sec penalty like they do in F1 or he should have let that car pass then try to get that position back imo
