Fun fact: This race was produced in Upscaled 4K with 1080p HDR. For those who didn’t know 😉. Next race in 4K will be at Darlington, then the All star open & the all star race, & finally Gateway next month.
@@VSautomotive well there’s only one problem: There are only certain networks that carry whatever resolution they have available. Fox to this day as hard as it is to believe, even with more 8K TV’s on the way, relies on their 720p format, while NBC/USA network broadcasts their coverage in 1080i. And this has been going on for almost 20 years or at least that, so that should give you an idea how incredibly expensive it would be to either produce anything in Full HD 1080p or 4K. NASCAR did upload the uncut 2020 Daytona 500 in 1080p, however, it still looks like it’s in 720p because again, that was Fox’s original intent. Most content that gets uploaded in 1080p usually occurs when it was recorded that way like TV Shows, for example. Live sports? That’s a different story.
About 54 minutes into the race I notice something I don't recall seeing for a while now. All the front tire carriers are rolling the tires to the wall beyond the arms length rule NASCAR made several years ago. I may be mistaken but isn't that rule still on the books?
I am wondering the same thing. The leader and second place car hit pit road, the caution comes out right after that. No way there was enough time for them to be lapped.
I dunno, it would've been cool if they'd shown a replay of how. 'Cause it always seems like it's a car that isn't leading who's on pit road that gets the good or bad break depending on when the leader crosses the line.
@@joelsittler6997 exactly. Not one replay of how they were lapped on pit road during the caution. They usually can’t wait to show a replay and explain 50 times why something happened. And usually have 12 different angles.
Chase Elliott is doing a great job this season and leading the point standings. As long as Chase Elliott continues to lead the standings twords the end of this NASCAR season, he may eventually end up winning his second championship after winning it in 2020

Not exactly related to this video but honest question from a guy that just now started to watch nascar. Is it legal to just knock another driver out of the race? Cause I'm seeing a lot of this and I'm just wondering if that's really ok. Is it within the rules or something?
Rubbing is racing. However, if it's becoming an issue and 2 drivers are going back and forth week after week just wrecking each other it will be addressed by nascar. That doesn't mean it will stop, but they will be sat down and talked to. Keep watching, cause it may be next race or next year but majority of these drivers don't forget and they will get even. Welcome to the sport!
It's usually a case of if a driver spins you, ur aloud to to spin him up the next week as pay back and nascar won't step if or something along those line depending on what happened
I'm quite a noob at Nascar. I used to see races where all cars were more packed, and switching between lanes. Why that's not the case here? Is it the new car? Or the speedway? Does this _peloton_ race only happen on supperspeedways?
@@MarcCastellsBallesta wrong bumping is aloud this is a track that cars get spread out at historically because of reasons I don’t feel Like explain your can bump at every track that guy has no idea what he’s talking about
Literally checked everyday for this
Same!!
Meeeee toooo
Same. I guess it took longer with the rescheduling
3:00:39 this is the absolute 100% best part of the race
Finally I've been waiting all week lol
NASCAR in Dover this season cannot wait to see these drivers.
"Boogity, boogity, boogity, let's go racin' boys!" That what Darrell Waltrip taught me.
I like the audio of rev`ing engines during the commercial breaks. Those v8`s "sing" a happy tune.

Would be nice if NASCAR would treat us with a 1080p full races from now on too :)

Man I love when they race at the monster mile😀
Dover track is so special, but this race didn't deliver this time . thank you Nascar.
hopefully tomorrow is better!
I haven't seen a driver losing a tyre into the pits until this race🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Didn't get to watch race because of the rain delay and me working Monday. Been waiting. Took long enough
long awaited, thanks!

I was at the race they came down pit road went a lap down the. The yellow came out which trapped them a lap down so they had to take the wave around
Wish I could watch this race without 30 seconds of ads every 2 minutes!
I feel like all the wheels falling off is the biggest safety hazard for fans in NASCAR, something bad is going to happen eventually.

You're right, these peloton races are on superspeedways like Daytona, where bumping into the car before you is allowed. Here it is not allowed.

I hate how late they posts these, social media already tells me who won😫😤
Facts I always go on social media by accident then spoil it before Wednesday’s
Normally they upload the the races on Tuesdays.
I unsubscribe and unlike NASCAR's page during the cup season. Problem solved.
There were more people there for qualifying in 2006 than for this race.
Every little fender bender, caution flag.
Not even HD in 2022 people might actually see whats happening

A transmissão da nascar é muito mal feita meu Deus qualidade péssima
The only way modern NASCAR races would be good would be if they would only be 2 laps long.
