I don't understand when people say her hair isn't real. Why cause u don't believe a black women to have long hair, stop stereotyping us black women, we are beautiful, we are strong and powerful, we are original, get it right haters
Indeed, miss Goolsby! I totally agree with you! If ignorant species say we black women can't grow our hair, we know it's baloney. We ignore that, because we know better. We only look at the people who do respect us and not at the ignorant species who do not! Those can get stuffed! I love you, sweetheart! Have a nice day!
Sheyenne Goolsby that's true the whites thinks that we don't have long hair normally our hair are meant to be long the only problem we have is that we don't take care of them like the white does
dont wash hair often , moisture , head massage , less heat or none , don't rip out your hair , protective styles, find products that work for YOU! , don't put tension on your edges , trims , be patient
I feel like everybody's hair is growing fast and long and beautiful but mine which can be discouraging. Like you said, everybody's hair grows differently so I'm not going to give up!
JazzyBoo don't give up! I felt the same way at 6 inches of hair (when i pulled on it). Now when I pull on it, it's APL! So keep at it!! The awkward stage was soooooo annoying!!
@JazzyBoo I'm trying some Pumpkin Seed Oil & Pepermint Essencial Oil because they say it can regrow missing hair. I just tried a mixture of *Water 1st then EVOO, Black Cumin Seed Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Fenegreek Oil, Coconut Oil & Castor Oil* & it was just 1 treatment & I grew like 2 inches of hair. They say to rinse it out but I left it in & the oil didn't absorb like I thought it would & soaked my shirt & pillows so next time I will just use a *little bit.* Also let me tell you that 1 of those Oils (BCS Oil) *REVERSED* my new Shiny Greyish White Hair. I want to pluck it out but I didn't cause it looks so cool how the bottom was white but the top is dark dark brown. I just noticed that hair cause it's right in *the front* & it was like 1 inch long. I didn't measure my hair though cause I obsessed over that 1 hair. So to see that much growth on it when I just did this treatment like *3 wks ago* (plus my natural color coming back strong) is awesome. That 1 hair is down past my right eye now. BCS Oil is supposed to be very healing & black folks use it for everything like pain internally & externally, parasites, sickness, & more. Fenegreek Oil grows boobs & hair plus you can take it internally too. The inversion method grows hair, boobs, etc too cause that blood flow reversal is so strong that it even makes people feel dizzy pretty quick. All the above has worked for me but I did smell like spring rolls, noodles, plus sweet & sour sauce cause the Fen Oil has a maple syrup smell mixed with all those cooking oils LOL I shoulda known. These women use Fenegreek Oil Mixture too www.chebemagic.com/ they don't apply it to the front of their hair because they want to have big forheads which is considered *beautiful* in their culture. So thinning, balding, or short edges is okay too them & their mixture does loosen their Afro-texture hair because of the weight of the kind of sandy product. They sell out pretty fast but I didn't get it because I just got my new oils & they are working, but their price was great & I am using a lot of their techniques.
Naturally Alecia same😭this one time I kept my hair in a braiding style for soo long and I took it out and it fit into one. I washed it, it shrank and idk it just never went back to being that long🤔(ofc it stretched back but not that long)
interesting points ,if anyone else is searching for black african american hair try Niposcu Healthy Hair Adviser (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my mate got amazing results with it.
let me save you 1. wash your hair frequently (esp if you use lots of build up products) 2. Always moiusturize 3. get scalp rubs 4. avoid heat 5. be gentle with your hair 6. do protective styles 7. find products that work for you 8. do not put tension on your edges 9. trim regularly 10. be patient with your hair growth. youre welcome
I love your hair! My hair used to be a huge puff, people used to call me a microphone head xD until I started using weaves and the straightening of the leave out damaged my hair as well as using the leg of tights to make puffs. But I am back on track! It also feels very refreshing to watch young people my age doing hair, I Subscribed ;) !
Well dang nabbit! Everyone said it, now it's my turn!!! You are BEAUTIFUL!!!! And u seem super laid back. Thanks for helping progressive the natural hair movement.
"Is your hair natural?" Yes."What does that mean does that mean it's real right? No it means my hair grows up from my scalp."Oh,well is your hair real?" Oh so ur basically saying black women can't have beautiful curly hair? STEREOTYPES
Jeanie D thank you 😊 I use Trader Joe's tea tree tingle shampoo and conditioner, I use eco styler gel (argan oil kind), coconut oil, and creme of natures pudding perfection leave in conditioner
New subbie! Great tips! I cannot wait for my hair to grow out long. I'm a huge fan of Shea butter and I am fighting alopecia but I am not giving up. Love your hair!
how did you manage to put all that hair in one ponytail and how often do you break ur hair ties I remember when I was younger I couldn't ever use small black rubber bands except for when I had braids
I loveeeee (Tamar Braxton voice) how quick and simple you made it😩❤❤. Some of these youtubers be making 25 minute videos just to tell us use protective styles and no heat😒😒
This maybe deemed a Conspiracy theory --There must have been a beauty suppression ingredient in chemical perms!!! Look how beautiful Black women become after going natural!!! Look at their face features change!!! Look at this beautiful young lady’s face!!! OMG Crazy!!!!
You contradict yourself a few times. But outside of that, you are correct. Simply, do what works for your hair type and lifestyle. Stimulation and moisturization and consistency are the keys. My sis and i are complete hair care opposites. She has porous hair and can go weeks without washing or months with a 'protective' style. Im the opposite, my hair is a dry sponge, a spoiled child that needs daily moisture, weekly washing and 'massages.' The build up is real. Protective styles damage my hair so i have to limit those due to dryness. Heat does not damage my hair. And i drink 60 oz water a day give or take.
Your hair is so beautiful. After three years of trying to grow my Afro I decided to go back to locs. It seems that's best for me anyway. Anywho that puff gives me life.
Sydney TV you should be able to stand up to your mother and say it’s your hair not hers so if you don’t feel comfortable with perms gurl go natural. It’s up to you.
Sydneyy ! It’s ok my mom got my hair texturized since I was about eight and yesterday I told her about how old things that can happen and that will happen if you keep on doing it she is letting me go natural now I’m very happy

I literally tell these tips to everyone. My hair grew so fast once I started making sure it's always moisturized, massage mu scalp with castor oil here and there, cut back on the heat, be careful with detangling aka use wide tooth combs and finger detangling, etc. my hair grows like grass
Can you make a protective hairstyles video please, I'm really trying to help my hair grow and give it a break with protective styles but I can never find the right styles to do also your hair is gorgeous ‼️
okay! saucy I'll try it that way but i was directly was hoping for a definite product i could use to get it soft it really hurt when combing it out I'll try it still thanks for replying .

I feel like everybody's hair is growing fast and long and beautiful but mine which can be discouraging. Like you said, everybody's hair grows differently so I'm not going to give up!
JazzyBoo Yes don't stress yourself too much about it. I'm sure it's not as bad as you think, and I'm sure you look lovely anyway.
JazzyBoo if feel this way aswell. Very frustrating
JazzyBoo don't give up! I felt the same way at 6 inches of hair (when i pulled on it). Now when I pull on it, it's APL! So keep at it!! The awkward stage was soooooo annoying!!
The best way to gain length is to stop focusing on length and focus on health. Once your focus change from growth you'll see it
@JazzyBoo I'm trying some Pumpkin Seed Oil & Pepermint Essencial Oil because they say it can regrow missing hair. Well dang nabbit! Everyone said it, now it's my turn!!! You are BEAUTIFUL!!!! And u seem super laid back. Thanks for helping progressive the natural hair movement.
I think having long hair is about having good genes as well
To some extent, but for most people, good diet, proper care(for your body and your hair) and little stress, does the trick.
Literally anyone can grow their hair unless they have a condition. Genes is like whether your hair is thick or thin not growth
You are soooo BEAUTIFUL!!!
Nyakong Yang thank you 😩💞

How can I moisturize my hair with out it shrinking while in a puff I have a lot of shrinkage
liv pretty I normally moisturize with a spray in leave in or simply just use oil. Then you can put it in the puff
