Yes they did. From what Tim said the filter had to be changed and HP is down

I bought a new Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid 2wd in October 2022, and the MSRP with all my options was USD $33,600. I just used the Ford configurator to price out exactly the same truck with the same options (except with 4WD) and it prices the MSRP to USD $39,935. That is a price increase of $6335!! If I take off $2500 for the value of the 4WD, it is still an increase of $3835. I love my Maverick, and always wanted a 4WD version, but that kind of price increase seems unreasonable to be. (Although we've had some inflation, this amounts to more than a 10% increase in pricing in one calendar year!) Ford should try to keep the Maverick affordable, which is what made it so appealing to many people.

The options are FWD and AWD, not 2WD and 4WD.

The Lobo gets the same trans i believe, they just remove one of the gears for better shifting etc when being 'sporty'. (pardon if that was already mentioned)

I've been saying there is no chance at all of that happening as a mid model refresh for 2025 since 2021 and 1% chance for the new model generation at the 6 to 8 year mark but unfortunately the Maverick community gets told by AI channels that it is happenning and then rumors flow and people listen to those rumors instead of insiders.

That drop in horse power has to do with a new required filter for this year. A particulate filter on the exhaust

Does this style 'AWD' new maverick require replacing all 4 tires if one needs replacing and the tread depths are too far apart from the others ? or single tire allowed regardless of treads ? or sets of 2 ? thanks

All 4 must be similar. If the front are 50% used and the rears finished buy used tires for the rear because there cannot be too much of a difference between front and rear.
