I Photoshop stuff as a hobby so I'm not always up to date on this stuff, but every time I stumble across a new feature I just sit in awe at how well this program is made and what it can do.
Nice info, but those walls are highly warped closer to the camera. I understand there's lens distortion, but there's gotta be a way to straighten those out....
You can also just learn about basic vanishing points with a pencil and paper, then apply it to Photoshop. Vanishing points are everything when you want to render perfect perspective. You have two point vanishing point and beyond. Start with two point vanishing points and learn to draw a panorama view of a city with tall buildings. It crosses over to Photoshop. Google "vanishing points"
Thanks, this video is a saver, I cant "like" it enough! I never knew about this advanced tool. You got yourself a new subscriber. Great video, slightly fast-paced but otrhervise great.
This is Fantastic information. However, as a perspective drawing nerd I can say with no reservation that you need to learn your basics about Horizon Lines and Vanishing Points even when the software is helping you out. The grid you made for the harbor is WAY off, and it would be easy for you to tell that if you understood basic perspective drawing. Software can't replace the foundations of art. That said, this is still great stuff. Thanks for putting it out there.
Thanks, Pat. I'm definitely not a pro when it comes to perspective. I know a little, but that last time I took a perspective class was in high school and it's not really something I use a lot. I think you're right about what you said! Thanks! 🍻
I wish u good luck, man. You know a lot and tell us the necessary information. Thank you for teaching us. And what's more, I can improve my knowledge of English, but it doesn't cancel that you're talking so fast :D
You're probably correct. I have tweaked and adjusted the mic a bit since this tutorial was made. Always learning and growing! Thanks for the comment, man! 🍻
Hey man love this tutorial! I have been wanting to learn this. I had a question and maybe you could help me out? When i save this as a .vfe and import it into after effects, it looks pixelated, do you know why its like that?
Thanks, man! For the pixelation, is the file big enough to fit the after effects file without being stretched? is the aspect ratio of the .vfe the same as the aspect ratio of the after effects file? also, it could be the preview engine in after effects. Try rendering out a small portion of the project and it may clear right up. Hope that helps!
I have a problem with the image I intend to insert. I cannot do anything with it (like overlay etc.), because no separate layer for that image is produced, that way I cannot put any effect on it. How can I fix that?
Good tutorial - but your left grid is not set up right (At all) ...just compare the window's vertical lines to the grid? horiyontal lines are way off ....just a reminder to the viewers that they need to do a better job to mach everything right /cheers

Some of the stuff that can be done is pretty crazy.
WOW! As an architect I wish I had known this so long ago. The measurement tool is invaluable. Great video!
I like that you talk fast. I find no time to get bored. Great! Thanks!

+tutvid hm.. Let me check into that!
I have a problem with the image I intend to insert. I cannot do anything with it (like overlay etc.), because no separate layer for that image is produced, that way I cannot put any effect on it. How can I fix that?
You want to create a new layer first and then go into Vanishing Point on the new layer.
Thank you very much for your answer! I can't believe that the solution was so simple. Thank you once again for that and for great tutorial :)
Thanks a Lot 4 this.
