Hi Jesus! First of all, thank you for the explanation. Please, could you tell me how on Earth I'd find the horizon line in a photo of a person where the backdrop is infinite with no lines, shading or clues at all? I've been struggling for months to get it and insert people correctly in composites, but I always fail. It's driving me nuts. I've watched your perspective tuts dozens of times, but something doesn't work. I would appreciate it a lot if you or someone help me out. I've really tried. Plus, I'm working in a composite right now with a self portrait. I followed the lines on the ground and the vanishing point is on my chest. The thing is, my camera was on a tripod in a lower level, so I was shot a bit from below. But at the same time, with the horizon line being on my chest, it looks like I'm being seen from ABOVE when I place the line that high. I will never get what I'm doing wrong. Please, ANYONE? Jesus?
I still remember I watched this video years ago back when I was learning perspective drawing, unironically, your explanation about perspective is 1000x better than any other art tutorials I've ever tried
I've watched this a few times now, it's worth coming back to for a refresher from time to time. Especially if you don't do composites on a regular basis. Thank-you.
The best tutorial of all the ones I have seen !!! .. Thank you very much .. and many thanks to my mother who when I was a child forced me to study English !! jajaaj. Greetings from Argentina.
I keep coming back to this tutorial, Jesus. When you asked for people to subscribe to your channel by that time, you had 281k followers. Now, 5 years later, you have 2,07 million subscribers. Means you are good at what you do. Thank you for sharing your knowedge.
Great tutorial! I was looking for digital painting perspective and a found this video out. I'm glad because I already know your channel (because of the Photoshop videos). You're a master.
Thanks! This is super helpful while trying to learn how to do backgrounds in perspective for art, I also never understood that perspective warp tool and now it makes sense entirely 😂
Thanx for this video, I have looked on you other perspective video and learned a lot. Too bad you can not afford to see your course, there's plenty more to learn. Maybe some day. Keep up this good job with your videos I will follow you.
Great video! Thank you. Sometime ago you said you are going to update your Compositing Made Easy Course. Would you please inform us when it will be available?
your tutorial is very helpful sir i am having issue to match the perspective of different products likes shoes, chairs or bottles in my daily work of composing please help me to find the way to match the perspective
Great tutorial. The scale in perspective trick is great. I had I problem with it until I found that the keep aspect ratio setting at the to of the transform tool was defaulting to off. It needs to be on for the scale in perspective to work right.
Hi! The main question would be: how did you create that grid? I know how to create the lines for the 2 vanishing points, but how about the lines that go in the depth of the image?
Anybody know where I can download that perspective grid he’s using when he’s showing the cubes in perspective? That grid can really help in my training of learning perspective. Thanks
Can you please do a video to show the horizon lines for pictures that are harder than the train photo. It is hard for me to understand where the camera was pointed.
@PTC Sorry if this question was asked already in the comments but on the composite where the man and the train are, can't you enlarge the man and put it as low as possible so that his head/neck is visible as if he stays just in front of the one who took the picture? I think that this way this could potentially blend together?
Hi,is there any function key that or create one. I explain my self more,I lost my left hand up to the wrist in an accident. How can i press shift and alt together as you mentioned in this tutorial. Thanks as always for helping those who want to learn from a master.
Mario, if you are on a Windows machine, and on CC, you should have the Modifier Keys panel (Window > Modifier Keys). That panel is an on-screen version of Shift Ctrl and Alt. You can just click on them with the mouse cursor, and continue to do the operation.
