There’s something to be said about the peacefulness and quiet of waking up, walking with a coffee and taking in God’s creation of a view. Things to be grateful for, being able to do just that. Thank you for the awesome videos, truly enjoy them and your commentary. Waiting for more!
Yeah, love doing that at camp. Nothing like seizing that short moment to take it all in before starting the day.
Grateful for every day I wake up my friend. Be safe
Carlo
Very cool! Thanks so much for filming (and keeping the location to yourself). There are so many great spots in the Sierras. A lot of them can be found with just a little research before you head out.
Your vids have been a *huge* help for me! Thanks!
Thank you for your comments and keep adventuring! Happy trails brother.
Great video Roger! Big thanks to you and John. Also, I appreciate you NOT sharing the grid from your beautiful camp spot.
taking that one to the grave lol
Thanks for taking us along with you
👍
Thank you for joining!
Nice video! Great camp spot too! I know exactly where it is too. The GPS Coordinates are 39.8 aaaarrrrrrrghhhhhhhhh.
🤫
Great video dude! I would say that was a great trip. Mountains are calling me.... it's just they are 10 hours away from me😢
😬 10 hours... there better be some good BBQ or something tasty on the way
@@ggg4runner I am sure there is, there a couple legit spots that serve legit southern soul food. Honestly we are planning to move closer to the mountains in a few couple years.
Great music 🎶, really sets the mood for travel. How about adding a playlist? Thanks!
The songs are from Arlist.io and Epidemic sound and I'm not sure if they are available elsewhere but here you go...
00:09 Alexandra Woodward - Speak Easy (Epidemic Sound)
00:52 Bo the Drifter - Simpler Life (Epidemic Sound)
08:22 Cody Francis - Mountain Air (Epidemic Sound)
16:08 Richard Farrell - Moon Mother (Arlist.io)
23:20 WEARETHEGOOD - Outrun (Arlist.io)
@@ggg4runner thanks!
Awesome vid as always mate!! What is that forest road at 9:00? Heading up there next week, would love to know what highway to turn off of! Thanks man.
I found it but it aint even stanislaus national forest lol
Those were all off Highway 108
@@ggg4runner Thanks, looking forward to headin up there, great travels to you
Great video and pretty spot! Well done, sir! 👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed it!
In Alberta, we have spots like that everywhere. I guess I don't even realize how lucky we are. I travel in my jeep fly fishing the canadian rockies camping in epic locations like you found .
I'm sure there are more spots like that in the Serra Nevada range, I just have to go find 'em!
@ggg4runner nice if it's quite, I always assume that a lot of the areas you have south of the border are over packed
@@evanhammond7305 the well-known spots are so it’s a matter of doing some homework with todays mapping technologies to “scout ahead.”
Great spot, great video and great pictures 👍
Thanks for watching!
This is a general question. My wife and I notice in your videos that you use paper plates/bowls opposed to reusable ones. Is there a reason for this?
We got tired of doing dishes and heating up water to do 'em. Testing out a tankless water heater/shower thing on the next adventure so we might go back to stainless plates/bowls moving forward.
I’ve heard those set ups are really nice. I watch Ozark Overland Adventure on UA-cam and they have a cool one that recirculates water from your tank and can get it nice and toasty for dishes, showers, etc. It packs up really small too, you just run the pump tube into your water supply.
@@jpentzien Yup, got something probably really similar to that and I'll be doing a review on it next month 😉
Lol. Love it
Thanks!
Beautiful area! Thanks for bring us along! The junipers were amazing! Interesting that Fred & Ginger have recent names! TY!
Thank you for watching! I guess no one named them until the 30s or 40s 🤷🏻♂️
Now that’s the kind of camping spot I look for! Absolutely beautiful scenery; love the meadows (hard to find in SoCal). Time to head up north! Thanks for posting!
@@jimstoneman1732 I like desert terrain too but the mountains floats my boat more. Big Bear has nice spots no? Sequoia NF has some awesome spots for sure.
Hilarious intro. Great camping spot. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!
Question, is there dispersed camping bear Bennett Juniper tree? Thinking of my kid and wheeling then camping. We did Pinecrest peak trail a few weeks ago.
There are places nearby but not right next to it
@@ggg4runner awesome I’m planning on going soon. 😃
Have a great time! And, if you find that secret spot, keep it on the down low 😉
Can a Subaru Outback handle this trail?
99% of it is well maintained forest service roads so yes. If you find my “secret” spot you’ll probably relocate both bumpers (if you know what I’m saying) on that one washed-out part near the end of the video.
Muir would be proud of that intro. Confused, but proud.
😂
Awesome intro 😂
Thank you!
