This is a video guide tutorial on how to take apart and replace the battery on your Nexus 7 2nd Gen Tablet.
I used the following tools:
1. Small Phillips head screwdriver
2. Open Prying tool

It was not clear how the second cable disconnected and I managed to pry the connector off the circuit board. So much for my tablet.
