For a split second at the beginning I thought I was going to hate Max and be mad at him for being so successful so early in his career while I have struggled throughout mine. But I don't, I really like him and Im happy and proud for his success! He wants to capture emotion and beauty and personality in his images and he is in no way puffed up and pretentious like so many fashion togs I meet! He is a great person and I can see that clearly in this film and that is the beauty of the video you created here Henry. Well done!
@@HenryThong it is very beautiful, professional, difficult, you need to know a lot and work as an artist to get masterpieces in a photo - Bravo to the master!
This guy became an inspiration for me not just for his work, what is amazing btw. but for the way he talks about his passion, I reckon that's what makes the difference when we talk about photography, music, painting, acting or any kind of art. If you don't feel what you do with your whole heart will be hard get into it
Wow Max is a true inspiration. I’ve been (for whatever reason) holding off on giving a modeling career a go for some time now, and only recently have I realised I need to make it happen. This video makes me certain that I’m doing it. No more excuses, no more doubting myself. Photographers like Max make me realise that there are photographers out there that will likely see what I see, and capture the beauty in almost anyone or anything.
He has such a nice and kind presence, I'm sure it's one of the most important things when working with models. The subject feels that kindness radiating towards them and feels free to express themselves. Beautiful video!
One of the Photographers I look up to. Very inspiring words, "Nothing good happens quickly..." this really struck me deep. Thank you Sir, for sharing this.
Include a 5D MarkIII with a 50mm f/1.2 and a 135 f/2 when a whole even for 2018 used way more expensive cameras. Thank God I didn't sell my 135 yet. Now to get to work this December!
Thank you for creating such a beautiful video showcasing a photographer with the grace, humility and passion which sometimes gets lost in the industry. He couldn't have said it any better that we are always a student. ❤
that’s an amazing video...very short yet ton of ideas...very inspiring... and max is one of only 95 photographers i follow but that’s the first time i hear him amazingly talented and great personality...hope i can see more videos like that
Hey, super cool to hear about your story and experience as photographer, since I'm building my way now too. That made me very inspired. That made me think about the turn point Max mentioned on it which was working on Maybelline, I would love to know how was his path until/to work there?
yeah but he was a model as well. hence the reason he knew all the big names and who to network with. but i did dig the video. i tell models all the time to pick up a camera because you are already half way there know who to network with and them already knowing who you are is gigantic plus.
Thank you so much making this video. You very much expressed what every photographer loves, and , anguishes over. I’m going to share this with every photographer I can.
Nice marketing piece. Seriously, Photographers need more of these, which everyone being a armchair quarterback photographer nowadays. I didn't even want to watch it, as Im in my feelings about my work right now..but I made myself do it. Whatever helps me get out of a creative funk and get a nice shoot setup and done...thats all it is (then, businesses of course :P)
Man! This was such a dope piece..love everything about it and I can relate as a photographer who’s only been shooting for almost two years and I have so much I wanna do. Patience 💯
Very nice video, enjoyed watching it. It's also nice to see how other photographers seeing the world, what are they feeling. Have something in common. Thank you and well done:)
HI THANKS A LOT FOR THE VIDEO AND CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR SUCCESS THIS VIDEO TOUCH A POINT WHERE I AM AT NOW IN MY PHOTOGRAPHY CAREER AND IT ALSO FILTER IT OUT A LOT FOR ME (DONT RUSH) ONE AGAIN NICE VIDEO
Thank you for this video. I was feeling down today after my photoshoot because I wasn't giving the photographer what she wanted and I can tell by her responses to each pic she took... so I asked God to help me. I mean I know this work. I live to model and to take pics. I can't explain it but this guy on this video just spoke for me. You do have to believe in yourself and have confidence, and when I stop paying attention to her disapointments and focused on my confidence we both were happy. So many ppl I have allowed to speak negatively into my spirit. I gotta stop that. God has empowered me to be great and to do great things. So I relate to him when he said the pic is beautiful but only you see it... it makes you second guess yourself. But today is a new dawn. If I had a free wish it would to bring awareness to Lupus with a beautiful pic of myself taken by him. That would be magic father God let it come to pass😊
Finally a video talking about photography ,not gear !
max pependieck is fucking boring shit
SUPERΔRTIFICIΔL Why are you here then?

Great to hear an Aussie accent out there mixing it with the big hitters!
Great guy. Seems he’s inspired, happy and cares more about the shutter than the gear attached to it. Hope he has a long lasting great career.
The fact that he seems so down to earth is satisfying.
