In this video i will explain you how to adjust tappet in honda xblade or hornet 160 to reduce the Tik Tik noise from engine, also check the engine noise in last as i compare in before after
Tool Required- 8mm Spanner or T, Screw Driver, Allen Key Set
Tappet Gauge- 0.8mm Inlet and 0.12 mm for Outlet Valve. - Авто та транспорт
Bro i have adjusted 0.7 mm inlet and 0.10 in exhaust in my bs6 unicorn engine which same has xblade is there any problem . And my bike 50km run

@@TechnicalAspects88 i set my hornys tappet at 0.08 mm for input and 0.20 for output. I need to test ride.
@@deepcool5497 that is also good, company suggested for .024mm for exhaust valve. But it make noise so is set for .012mm
@@TechnicalAspects88 no, company suggested is 0.24 mm, but i set it at 0.20 mm.

Yes I know but it will again start making noise. Or you can keep 0.12mm to 0.15mm which is common for all the 150cc Honda and yamaha bikes, and this engine is also based on these 150cc engines.
does open oil tank for carburetor tuning screw adjusting? X blade
No need to open remove tank, but tuning carburettor in Xblade is very difficult, air fuel mixture screw is hidden

@@mdshakilsikder2818 it is very tough process, and don't adjust that screw, it is company fitted and computerized adjusted, just go to machanic and ask them to clean carburettor.

Ye problem mujhe bhi hoti thi, ap ek baar tappet set karwa kar dekhe usse help milegi, aur petrol tank clean karwaye, carbon diposite hone ke karan bhi valve band nahi hote engine ke jisse bike chalu nahi hoti, engine oil koi sa bhi use kar sakte ho per fully synthetic use karo.
@@TechnicalAspects88 castrol 10w40 fully senthetic daalneke baad overheating ki problem chalu hui hein, petrol mein daal neka liquid aata hein usse carbon diposit saaf ho jayegi

@@TechnicalAspects88 ha engine sound and normal thodese km mein heat ho jata hein and mein 100 km leke gayatha to overheating ke karan valve bandh hogaye thein to spark plug mein oil daal ke valve kholne pade

Bro, Intake 0.08mm and outlet ?
Outlet 0.12mm to 0.15mm if bike is 10000km run.
@@TechnicalAspects88 as per xblade owners manual outlest is 0.24mm. so you said 0.12mm..wont it damage valve ?
@@subhan1641 no, 0.24mm will make lot of tappet noise, it is good when you rebuild your engine, if your bike is run to 20k km then you can go for 0.12 to 0.15mm for exhaust valve. 0.12 mm is also very loose guage you can easily use it.
@@TechnicalAspects88 i see, then why its mentioned 0.24mm in book? because i kept to 0.24mm and its making grinding noise..do you mean as the bike gets old we need to reduce the MM ?
@@subhan1641 i already tried 0.24mm first which doesn't work for my xblade. It is making lots of noise in cold start too. New engine valve seat has better material which is fixed by company digital grinding machines. Which makes everything face to face. And that is why they keep it quite loose for make engine run smoothly because most of wear and tear happens in new engine as compared to old engine. Also keeping tappet loose doesn't harm your engine except lots of engine noise. Honda shine bs6 having 0.14mm and Activa has 0.14mm for both valve

Just try to visit service centre for tappet setting. I am not a mechanic.
