Wow! I was just watching "Wondering Woodsman", he is doing some videos on some campgrounds in Pennsylvania with the purpose of getting an idea of what they are like for just the same reason you were talking about. It was very helpful and I was wishing there was Michigan videos like that! I would definitely watch your campground tour videos.

It seems to be quite the challenge these days! I found the Porkie cabins complicated to figure out how to reserve. I really like the idea of campground tours! I try to do that when I am out also, hoping it would be helpful and I think you doing that would be VERY helpful!

I'm not thrilled with the required reservations. I understand the need for it, to a degree. I do a lot of camping via kayak along the shore of Lake Superior. The weather can decide for me what are paddling days and when I will get to my next destination. A few years ago I paddled from Whitefish Bay to Au Train. I chose to do it in early June so that, hopefully, there would be open sites even though I didn't have reservations. I needed reservations in Pictured Rocks and made reservations for a site for two nights, hoping that I would get there one of those two nights and that the weather wouldn't cause me to miss my reservation. I paid for two nights , knowing that I would only use one. The disappointing thing was when I got there and someone was in site
