11:18 The concurrency control component takes care of isolation, while the recovery management component takes care of durability.
13:11 Consistency ensures that the database remains in a consistent state before and after a transaction.

Durability means if we commit an operation it should be successful write on disk. my question is that if we receive commit and hard is crash than durability property is not satisfied. can you please explain whats happens?
i cant say what happens but i can comment that durability is property for a transaction on a database. hdd failure dont fall under this categ...
