yoo this is like the 6th devlog i think of my game karlson, which all started like 3 months ago when jotaro said i couldnt make a 3d game. in the last episode we added a boss, so now we're adding new weapons to karlson, because weapons are cool. we're also making a new KARLSON trailer, because the old one on Steam is really bad, and needs a little upgrade lol. the game is coming along well tho, but still lots to do

I'll try uploading every week, but I'm pretty busy with university and part time job, so I won't have time every week. But I'll do my best!

IDEA: Small detail to billy: When you first start playing the game, when you get billy you should make an interaction to turn him on by pressing E. There should be a button on the front of his face so you can turn him on and off if you don't want him to follow you. When you turn him on or off there should be a line on his face like a television turning off.

Some Ideas for the Game
Chocolate Milk: A power-up found around levels that gives you 5 seconds of a speed boost, allowing you to gain more momentum.
Buttons that players need to shoot in order to open large gates allowing you to progress further. This can be used for making the player keep their momentum up while still having to interact with some devices.
Revolver: A new weapon that works as a fast firing version of the Pistol.
Searchers: A new enemy that follows light and shoots at the player. To stop them, instead of shooting them, players must shoot out the light in the room.
Drones: New flying enemies that rapidly shoot lasers at the player.
Grenade: A new item that can be thrown to cause a small explosion....duh. I mean, it’s a Grenade, so...
Hiders: A new enemy that poses as a wooden crate. This could be used if there was a Warehouse level with crates everywhere, and they creep towards you as you run through the rooms.
Cookies: If it’s about milk, ya gotta have cookies. Karlson could collect Cookies to heal after taking damage.
Chips: Computer Chips could be found around the map to upgrade things. In fact, it upgrades both Karlson and his Weapons. For weapons, the fire rate could be increased along with damage, whilst for Karlson, you could get higher jump height, faster speed, etc.
Strong Ones: A new enemy that’s essentially just a bulkier enemy with a larger amount of health.
There could be lasers around the map that you must quickly maneuver around, or they will damage the player.
Clone Machines: A new item like a device you enter, or maybe a throwable item like a grenade, that creates a clone of the player with a very low amount of health, meaning it will die shortly, however it can take out a small amount of enemies nearby.
Jetpack: A new item that could be used in the sky or rooftop chapters.
A third person mode.

dani should make it so you actually play a credits level instead of just a blank screen with names
the final boss should be billy he can have these really powerful guns a fuck ton of rockets(not homing),2 rail guns, spawns enemies and has arms the more u beat him the more the area gets fucked up aka platforms start to move turrets start appearing and genuinely the area starts getting distorted
the way you beat him is by using these cannons that are around the boss area you hit him in light areas on him and he gets stunned once stunned you shoot the thing that powers him orange juice do it 5 times and he malfunctions with orange juice that soaks in his components and wires he then blue screens and explodes

Yeah. I hope he takes his sweet time, since honestly solo-making a game and making videos is very hard. The most game-making is using Scratch for a middle school project but that's already difficult I can't imagine actually using code. Though I think Dani can lessen his workload by getting more people. I'm pretty sure there are plenty of people willing to work for Dani for free just to see his game come out and have an opportunity to help.

I have a feature to propose: Pressing ‘F’ would make you inspect the weapon, similar to TF2
@Francisco Colautti f is a crucial key because of how close it is to wasd and inspect would require animations and hands

I dont think an inspect feature is really needed since there aren't any gun skins, but I would love a pick up animation. E.g, when the weapon is picked up, he turns it and inspects it.
