Amazing alex 💪🏻 unfortunately video is lagging under microscope. What changed from previous setup?
Video is fine before UA-cam rendering. It looks like UA-cam does not like whatever setting I have the video recorded at. I'm working on it.
@@NorthridgeFix yes the video lagging. the video is good but to be honest the old setups were better. you have a pretty face but I liked the way you positioned the camera before

May I ask what size monitor do you like for your microscope? I am learning to work on automotive ECU's I like to see what people find to be the best setup's. I know you sell a nice steroe scope I've been looking at as well.

Haha, yes you have a very handsome face, but I prefer the camera position where it was before, where I could see all of your gadgets, devices, tools, and clutter on your workbench.. love your videos. They are very relaxing and it is satisfying to watch when you fix things. (But move the camera back to where it was before please...)

Hi, my iPad Air 4 only charging with PD fast charging, but charging current is jumping around from 100mA to 800mA, and doesn't work with 5V 10W or 5V 20W apple charger. Nothing happens when connecting the iPad Air 4 to the computer. Wondering is this a bad charging port? or bad charging IC? or Bad PMIC? Thank you!!

You keep mentioning low melt solder. I have regular trouble desoldering stuff. Does low melt work with through hole stuff on multilayer boards? Is it an issue if there is some low melt left on the board after desoldering? Is it really enough to just wick away the low melt and then solder with regular solder?
You apply low melt solder to your iron and apply it to the solder on the board. The idea is to dilute/blend the solder on the board with the low melt solder since low melt has a lower melting temp. This makes it much easier to remove parts without blasting the board with heat, and it does work with holes on multi-layered boards. Wicking it up also works much easier as Alex stated in the video. Just remember, low-melt solder is used to unsolder something. Don't use low melt to solder something back on, use regular solder. This is because low melt can potentially hit it's melting point when inside a device while being used (such as a console or video card). Hope this helps!
What about the pins in the upper corners? You didn't solder these. Are they not part of the connector?

I don't know how you keep going at this pace. You need to hire someone just for micro soldiering, looks you you could diagnose and give them a stack of simple things every day, replacing connectors, missing pads, etc. I know you need someone to do diagnostics, but there are not many people out there that can do what you do, why do you think so many other shops send you work. :)
