I'm not not being humble at all man I've just seen the most hacked shit from the 1960s to modern day and there are only a few elite shops that have insane attention to detail but the resourcefulness of the Japanese is next to none for making shit work for sure. Coming from USDM import factory repair to early 70s japanese cars and 80s to now out here doing 90s and newer it's all the same mistakes really just different degrees of seriousness. But if they were perfect I would never be where I am now so I thank them 100%

I think it both has something to do with Tommy's personality, which I can see being off-putting for some in that he can be a sarcastic asshole, and the fact in a lot of ways it's more detailed oriented and there aren't a lot of "fun" builds that would appeal to a younger audience. I think the same goes for Speed Academy. You have to be more interested in the mechanical side of cars to really enjoy it.

Mishimoto hasn't been producing their own radiators for years. They are rebranded bulk bought stock cores that are rebuilt and branded mishimoto.
Very few mishimoto products are designed and produced by mishimoto. It's sad to see.

CSF is also known to fail, so keep an eye on it. Their quality is pretty subpar compared to Koyo or a Custom Rad.
I wouldn’t say CSF is known to fail. They’re miles better than most options and the warranty/customer service is great. But no doubt Koyo is king.
I had a csf radiator in my miata and it was pretty great for 50k miles
@@perryman333 Known to fail in the Z community, specifically the 370Z community. Been in the community a very long time haha. See them blow more often than I would deem "acceptable." I just wouldn't trust them, especially when OEM Radiators are proven to keep the car cool even in 90+ degree temps on track with proper ducting, its a pointless upgrade in a 370 unless youre pushing crazy power.
@@porter4856 May just be 370 specific, as all that is the community I am most familiar with and am in. See them fail more than I would say is "within reason." Where as OEM 370 Rads are proven reliable on track, and upgrading isnt necessary unless pushing serious power.
Csf is good, been using it on my is300 no problem.

For the fuel starvation issues in the 370z, I've made my own anti-starvation kit for my 370z with an extra fuel pump that pumps it from the left side of the tank into the fuel pump bucket. No more fuel starvation issues till it's completely empty!!

Radium engineering makes a good 370z fuel hanger surge tank, very helpful when it comes to fuel starvation.
