I was stationed at Keesler Air Force Base 1981-1984. That was a very important time in my life, and I have a lot of great memories. I loved the Biloxi area, the beaches, the night clubs, and the people who lived there. I hope to return for a visit some day.

What about Gulfport my great grandfather and my grandpaw opend one of the first sea food markets in the 30s the Williams family Jody Williams and Joe williams and my uncle Herman williams they were simeno indians My grandpaw Joe williams was Born in 1920 on Horn iland His mothers name Jane williams madn name cartridge she was from soutcarlina she told me she came here on a covered wagon my uncle Harman was a night watchman on ship iland they went to get him off the iland in haracan Camille he was staying in the qwarintin stashen that was for sivelwar shoulders thay made a liveing shrimping and oystering they are all passed on but i learned a let from them i thank God them hop to see them again if the lord is willing and the Creek don't rise i will see them again they was none more in ocean springs God bless everyone
When I first got stationed at Keesler, I was introduced to Barq's. I had never heard of it at that point, but it didn't take long before it was popular all over the country.
